Sunday is upon us, and there are some valuable NBA Odds tonight. I have found two games on today’s slate that look like great plays, and I am adding them both to my NBA Picks for Sunday.

Suns vs. Grizzlies
Phoenix has been playing well this season, and they might be on their way to a playoff berth in the West, even though it’s by far the toughest conference. However tonight that play another one of those tough West teams in Memphis, and the NBA odds. have the Grizzlies as -5 favorites, with a total of 206. With Zach Randolph back in the paint for the Grizzlies, the Suns are going to have a tough time stopping him or Marc Gasol tonight.  A night after his brother scored a career high, 46 points, I bet Gasol is going to come to play tonight.

That’s why I’m siding with Memphis at home in this one. While the Suns do have superior guard play, Mike Conley us good enough on defense to slow down whomever he is defending from the Suns backcourt, and with depth on the wing and in the paint, the Grizzlies should hold the defensive and rebounding battle tonight.

Memphis has been on a tough road trip as of late, but after back-to-back double-digit losses to teams they probably should have beaten, I expect a bounce back performance here. Even though the Suns have been on a rampage ATS, going 10-2-1 ATS in their last 13 games overall, I think Memphis will be too much here.

Blazers vs. Lakers
Last night the Blazers were in a fight with the visiting Orlando Magic, but after letting them hang around for almost the entire game, the Blazers turned it on late and pulled away for good. Now Portland has to travel down to LA for a game tonight against the Lakers, and the NBA odds have them as solid -6 ½ road favorites, despite coming off the back to back.

However I am a little more focused on the total, which sits right at 204 ½. With the Blazers coming off the back to back, and the Lakers giving up points in bunches, this looks like a fantastic place for the over. The Blazers’ offense should have no issues slicing up the Lakers, even if Kobe Bryant plays in this game. Bryant was set to play in the Lakers’ game on Friday, however he was a late scratch. With him being rested now, it should only help his chances of playing, and the Lakers’ chances of scoring well enough to cash the over.

Neither one of these teams is trending with the over right now, but while neither team has cashed the over recently, this game should bring about a very fast pace. The over is 4-0 in the Lakers last four games at home against winning teams, and the over is 4-0 in their last four as home dogs too. Look for Bryant to potentially make his return, which should boost the Lakers’ scoring enough against the tired Blazers to cash the over. Even though these two teams first meeting went under this season, the over is still 7-3 in their last ten games against one another.
