The Indiana Pacers (32-30) travel to the Verizon Center to take on the Washington Wizards (30-31). The Wizards are favored by 1.5 points on the NBA odds board and the total is set at 208.

Indiana Pacers
The Indiana Pacers have lost four of their last five games to fall to seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Pacers are coming off a 108-101 road loss against the Hornets last night. Paul George scored 35 points and Ian Mahinmi had 10 points and 14 rebounds in the setback. It was the 19th 30-point game for George, most in the East. Indiana let Charlotte shoot 10 of 20 from the field in the fourth quarter.

The Pacers score 102.3 points per game and shoot 44.7 percent from the floor and 34.9 percent from three-point range and they pull down 44.3 rebounds per game. Indiana allows 100.6 points per game and their opponents shoot 44.1 percent overall and 33.4 percent from beyond the arc and grab 44.8 rebounds per game. Paul George leads the team with 23.4 points and 1.9 steals, Monta Ellis averages 14.3 points and a team-best 4.7 assists and George Hill adds 12.4 points per game.

Washington Wizards
The Washington Wizards are currently in 10th place in the East, one game behind the eight-seeded Pistons. The Wizards had won four straight games before last night's 108-83 blowout loss against the Cavaliers. John Wall led the Wizards with 17 points and Markieff Morris added 13 points. Wall rolled left his ankle while making a layup and rested the entire fourth quarter but he expects to play tonight.

The Wizards average 102.7 points per game (10th in the league) on 45.6 percent shooting overall and 35.5 percent shooting from three-point range and they pull down just 40.8 rebounds per game (29th in the league). Defensively, Washington allows 104.4 points per game and their opponents shoot 46.5 percent from the floor and 37.6 percent from beyond the arc and grab 44.6 rebounds per game. John Wall leads the Wizards with 19.9 points, 9.8 assists and 2.0 steals, Bradley Beal averages 18.0 points per game and Marcin Gortat adds 13.7 points and 10.0 rebounds.

Betting Trends
The Pacers are 2-5 ATS as a road underdog of 3 points or less, 4-8 ATS when playing on back-to-back days, 3-11 ATS revenging a home loss vs. an opponent, 1-6 ATS after playing 3 consecutive road games and 10-15 ATS when playing against a team with a losing record.

The Wizards are 4-3 ATS as a home favorite of 3 points or less, 9-7 ATS in the second half of the season, 9-4 ATS on Saturday games, 9-5 ATS against Central Division opponents and 3-0 ATS after scoring 85 points or less.

Final Analysis
The Wizards are a 1.5-favorite on the NBA odds board and the total has been set at 208. This will be the third meeting of the season between these two teams. The Pacers won at Washington 123-106 on November 24 behind 40 points from Paul George but the Wizards beat them 118-104 at Indiana on January 15. John Wall finished with 28 points and eight assists in that game.

Both teams lost tough games last night but the betting trends favor the Wizards and even though John Wall might not feel 100 percent, they're playing decent basketball and laying just 1.5 points at home offers decent value. I like the Wizards -1.5 for one of my NBA picks.
