Two teams in desperate need of a win collide in Bluff City. Check out our Pacers vs. Grizzlies NBA picks based on the best NBA odds.

The Memphis Grizzlies and Indiana Pacers will both be missing key players in Sunday’s matchup, and both teams are desperately searching for a win.

Memphis dropped a fifth straight game on Friday to Minnesota, and the Pacers have struggled mightily without Tyrese Haliburton in the lineup.

One of these teams has to win, but can Memphis cover one of its biggest spreads of the season?

Here is our best Pacers vs. Grizzlies NBA pick (odds via DraftKings; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Pacers vs. Grizzlies odds analysis

This line opened as low as Grizzlies +7.5, but it’s risen to +9.5 on all of our featured books. Memphis is 14-8-1 against the spread at home this season and 12-8-1 as the home favorite. It's 13-5-1 against Eastern Conference opponents but just 7-10 following a loss.

The Grizzlies beat the Pacers by 18 and covered when these teams met on Jan. 14. Indiana is just 9-13 ATS the road dog, 11-14 on the road, and 8-12 against Western Conference opponents. Those trends aren’t everything to bettors, as 55% of wagers have come in on Indiana to cover.

The point total opened at a healthy 239.5, and it’s moved up even more to 241.5. The Pacers are 10-12 to the Over/Under as road dogs and 9-11 against Western Conference opponents, but the team has hit the Over in each of its last two games.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies are 12-7-2 O/U as home favorites and 12-6-1 against Eastern Conference opponents.

Memphis has gone Under in five straight, but these teams combined for 242 points and hit the Over when they met earlier in the month. Bettors are banking on a lower-scoring game, with 56% of wagers placed on the Under.

Pacers vs. Grizzlies pick

Pacers +9.5 vs. Grizzlies (-110 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Things have been ugly for Indiana as of late. Including the game in which he went down early with a knee injury, the Pacers are just 1-9 straight-up and 2-8 ATS without Haliburton. Despite the recent lack of success, Indiana can cover this massive spread on the road.

The Grizzlies have lost five in a row and are just 1-4 ATS during that losing streak. The team will be without Steven Adams and John Konchar and likely without Desmond Bane, as well. Memphis can win this contest and snap its losing streak, but covering this spread will be difficult.

Memphis is 7-1 SU when favored by at least nine points but just 3-5 ATS in that situation. Indiana has a 3-1 ATS record when +9 or higher this season. Over its last 10 games, the Pacers have kept the score within six points five times.

Ja Morant will surely show up and do his thing, but the Pacers have their own guard who has stepped up lately. T.J. McConnell has averaged 18.5 points, 9.8 assists, and 5.5 rebounds in four games as a starter with one double-double and one triple-double. McConnell is typically light in the rebounding department, but the Grizzlies will be without Adams, who leads the league in offensive boards over the last two seasons. McConnell can certainly take advantage of Adams’ absence, and his assist numbers have been elite recently.

Memphis allows the ninth-most rebounds (52.9) and eighth-most at home (52.7), and the team also allows the most assists per contest (26.7). That means McConnell and Myles Turner - who recently signed a huge contract extension - can keep this one close. The props aren’t in yet, but I’m wagering on a McConnell double-double if that becomes available.

There’s no variation in odds for this wager, and all of our featured books are offering this one at the standard -110.

Use your favorite sportsbook to make this wager. If you’re feeling bold, I’d consider placing 0.5 units on the Pacers Moneyline for a spicy Sunday wager.

All of these featured books list ML odds at +300 or longer, with BetMGM offering the best odds at +350. Memphis is one of the best teams in the NBA at home SU, but due to its recent struggles and key injuries, a Pacers upset is not out of the question.
