Minnesota Timberwolves vs. New Orleans Pelicans 7:05 PM ET
New Orleans is 21-7 over the total at home this season, and that includes 11-1 over during their previous twelve. The Pelicans have been horrible defensively in their last five games. During that stretch, they’re allowing 113.8 points per game while opponents have shot 49.2%, and converted on a red-hot 40.2% of its three point attempts. The Pelicans are averaging a lofty 107.2 points scored per game at home this season, and have made a stellar 39.2% of their three-point shots.

Minnesota is 8-1 over the total in their previous nine games, and 14-2 over during its previous sixteen contests. The Timberwolves have converted on a sizzling hot 44.2% of their three point attempts over their last five outings. During that same time frame, they’ve averaged a mammoth 36 free throw attempts per game, and connected on a superb 80.3% of those opportunities.

These NBA Western Conference rivals have met twice already this season, and each of those contests went over the total. New Orleans shot 49.4% in those two games, and that included 20-47 (42.6%) from beyond the three point line. Minnesota was an outstanding 52-66 (78.8%) from the charity stripe in those two contests.

The total in this game is quite high and for good reason.
