Our NBA analyst shares his two top totals for Wednesday’s card. Go inside to find out what those NBA picks are, and why he’s opted to bet on them.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Boston Celtics 7:35 PM ET
The Clippers have allowed 93 points or less in seven of their last eight, and in eight of its previous ten games. Wednesday will be their third game in four days. Los Angeles has gone 14-3 under the total this season when playing in their third game during a four day period, and those seventeen outings averaged a combined 195.1 points scored per contest. Los Angeles enters today with a .673 win percentage.

Boston is coming off a 112-11 loss at Milwaukee last night, and they now possess a .574 win percentage this season. They’ve gone 8-3 under the total this season when play without any rest.

Any team (Clippers) with a total of 200.0 to 209.5, playing their third game in four days, and they have a win percentage of .600 to .750, versus an opponent with a better than .500 win percentage, resulted in those games going 44-14 (75.9%) under the total since 1996. Those 58 contests averaged just a combined 197.8 points scored per game.

Current NBA odds provide me with a favorable number for this specific wager.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Brooklyn Nets 7:35 PM ET
Brooklyn has gone 9-1 over the total in their last ten home games, and that includes the previous seven in a row. They’ve been porous defensively during its last five games, allowing 106.2 points per contest, and opponents converted on a sizzling hot 45.2% of its three point attempts. As a matter of fact, Brooklyn has given up 102 points or more in nine of their last ten games. The Nets have also scored 100 points or more in five of its last six contests.

Memphis has gone 12-2 (83.3%) over the total in their previous fourteen games. The Grizzlies have scored 101 points or more during eleven of its previous twelve games. They’ve shot 51.0% from the field, and have also converted on a stellar 39.4% of their three point attempts during their previous five outings.

Relative to the current total, I like this game to be a high scoring affair, and one of my Wednesday NBA picks will follow suit.
