Phoenix Suns vs. Charlotte Hornets 7:05 PM ET
Phoenix has gone under the total in their last four away games, and they scored 93 points or less in each of those contests. The Suns have shot a terrible 41.5% over their last five games overall.

Charlotte has allowed 96 points or less in six of their last seven games. They’re 4-1 under the total in its previous five contests, allowed its opponents an average of only 18 free throw attempts per outing, and there was a combined 192.8 points scored per game.

Relative to the current total, I like this game to be a low scoring affair. One of my Tuesday NBA picks will concur with that prediction.

Orlando vs. Dallas 8:35 PM ET
Orlando has gone 5-1 over the total in their previous six games, and they scored 110 points or more on four of those occasions. As a matter of fact, Orlando has been horrible defensively during their last five outings, allowing a very lofty 114.8 points per game, and opponents have shot a sizzling hot 53.0%. They hosted Dallas just eleven days ago, won that contest by a score of 110-104, and the game easily surpassed the total of 200.0. Orlando is 6-2 over the total in its last eight away games.

Dallas has gone over the total in each of their last eight games, and there was a combined average of 225.2 points scored per contest. Those eight outings went over the number by an enormous average of 19.7 points per game. Dallas has scored 119 points or more in four of its last five home games. The Mavericks have made a concerted effort to speed up tempo of late, and their last five outings have averaged a robust 177 field goal attempts per contest.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Los Angeles Lakers 10:35 PM ET
I’m going to keep my reasoning for this pick very simple, and also utilize an extremely profitable NBA betting algorithm to support my choice. Brooklyn has gone 17-10 (63.0%) under in away games this season and there was an average of 200.9 points scored per contest. The Lakers are 16-10 (61.5%) under at home during this 2015-2016 NBA campaign, and there’s been an average of 200.0 points scored per outing. Brooklyn averages 97.0 points scored per game this season, and the Lakers are at 97.5 per contest. Current NBA odds at Pinnacle has a posted total of 212.0 on this game.

Any team (Lakers) with a total of 210.0 or more, playing after game 41 of the season, and both teams average 92.0 to 98.0 points scored per contest, resulted in those games going 24-4 (83.3%) under the total since 1996. The average total in those 28 games was 211.7, and there was 204.0 points scored per contest.
