Our expert handicapper shares his top three totals on Saturday’s card. Don't make a move on your NBA picks without first reading this article.

Houston Rockets vs. Charlotte Hornets 7:05 PM ET
Houston is coming off a win at Boston last night. They’ve gone 7-0 under the total in their last seven games when playing with no rest. Those contests averaged a combined 229.8 points scored per game. The Rockets have scored 100 points or more in its last six, and eleven of their previous twelve games.

Charlotte has scored 108 points or more in each of their previous six games. During that time, they shot a stellar 48.0% from the field, made a superb 42.2% of their three point attempts, and converted on 82.8% of its free throw tries.

This has all the making of a wildly entertaining game with a lot of points to be scored. One of my NBA picks on Saturday concurs with that line if thinking.

Miami Heat vs. Toronto Raptors 7:05 PM ET
Both of these teams have been red-hot offensively of late. The first three times these division rivals met this season, there was an average total of just 188.2, and two of those contests went under the number. However, the last of those meetings took place way back on 1/22/2016. According to the current NBA odds at Bovada, the total on this game tonight is 200.0. The sportsbooks have surely acknowledged the recent offensive accomplishments of both teams.

Miami has averaged 113.0 points scored per contest, shot 51.2%, and converted on an exceptional 47.8% of their three points attempts over its last six games. They’ve seen each of their previous three away games go over the total, and there been a combined average of 216.7 points scored per contest.

Toronto is averaging 106.2 points scored per outing, while shooting a very good 48.4% from the floor, and making 41.8% of their three-point tries over the course of its six games.

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Milwaukee Bucks 7:35 PM ET
New Orleans is coming off a 121-114 loss at Memphis last night. Don’t be fooled by that final score as the game required overtime, and was deadlocked at 99-99 at the end of regulation time. New Orleans has gone 8-1 under the total on the road this season when playing with no rest, and there was a combined 204.4 points scored per game.

Milwaukee has scored less than 100 points in four of its previous six games. However, they’re coming off a 114-108 win over Miami in their previous outing. Milwaukee has gone 11-1 under the total (195.5 PPG) in their last twelve games this season, following a contest in which they scored 105 points or more.
