Our handicapper shares his top two NBA totals for Saturday’s action. He’s coming off a 2-0 sweep on Friday night. Go inside to give yourself a sizable advantage when betting these games today.

Boston vs. Cleveland 7:05 PM ET
Cleveland played last night and they’ve gone 9-3 under the total this year with no rest. They’ve also gone 3-0 under the total in its last three games when playing with no rest, and there been a combined average of only 187.7 points scored per contest. The Cavaliers are also 4-1 under in their previous five home games overall.

After being involved in a plethora of high scoring games, things have recently changed for Boston in those regards. The Celtics have gone under the total in each of their previous four games, and there was a combined average of 200.8 points scored per contest.

These NBA Eastern Division rivals have met twice this season, both games went under the total, and there was an average of only 186.5 points scored per contest. Let’s make it three straight low scoring games.

NBA Pick: Play on under the total of the total of 212.5

Detroit Pistons vs. New York Knicks 7:05 PM ET
Detroit has gone 7-2 under the total in their last nine games. The Pistons have averaged a rather low 80 field goal attempts, and allowed just 16 free throw attempts per outing during its previous five games.

New York has gone under the total in each of their previous four games. There was only a combined average of 195.0 points scored per contest during those four outings. The Knicks played last night at Boston. They’ve gone 6-1 under in their last seven games when playing with no rest, and that includes in all of their previous four, and there was a combined 190.6 points scored per game.

Both of these teams have sustained their fair share their shooting struggles this season. This shapes up to be a low scoring game, and one of my NBA picks on Saturday will concur with that notion.

Atlanta Hawks vs. LA Clippers 10:35 PM ET
Atlanta has gone under the total in five straight contests, and there was a combined average of only 189.0 points scored per game. During that stretch, Atlanta held its opponents to a meager 37.7% shooting.

The Clippers have gone 9-2 under the total in their last eleven games. Included in that time period were four straight home games going under the total, and there’s been a combined average of just 194.2 points scored per contest. The Clippers have been stellar on the defensive end during their previous five outings, allowing 94.2 points per game, and holding opponents to 39.4% shooting.
