Our NBA handicapping professional shares his three top totals on Wednesday’s card. Go inside to find out what those NBA picks are, and why he’s opted to wager on them.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Brooklyn Nets 7:35 PM ET
Brooklyn has allowed 110.4 points per game during their last five contests, and opponents have shot a sizzling hot 50.9% from the floor. The Nets have also scored 100 points or more in three of its last four games, and has shot a stellar 47.5% from the field during their previous five outings.

Cleveland is coming off an embarrassing 132-98 home loss to Golden State, and that contest easily surpassed the total of 210.0. Brooklyn has gone over the total by a combined 26 points during their last three games. These pieces of data set up a very profitable NBA betting angle.

Any team (Cleveland with a total of 190.0 to 199.5, coming off a game in which they went over the total by 18 points or more, versus an opponent (Brooklyn) that went over the total by a combined 24.0 points or more during its previous three contests, resulted in those games going 69-35 (66.3%) over the total in the past five seasons. I’m going to follow this NBA handicapping algorithm when making one of my NBA picks for Wednesday.

Charlotte Hornets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder 8:05 PM ET
?Oklahoma City will be playing in their third game in four days on Wednesday. This marks the 13th time this season they’ve been cast into that exact role, and Oklahoma City has gone 10-2 under the total in the first twelve. They’re 4-1 under the total in their last five games, and allowed an average of 91.2 points per game during that stretch.

Oklahoma City is averaging 108.6 points per game this season. The Thunder will be facing an opponent (Charlotte) tonight which has allowed 105 points or more in each of their previous three games. Any team with a total of 200.0 to 209.5, averaging 103.0 points or more scored per game, versus an opponent that’s allowed 105 points or more in each of their previous three games, resulted in those games going 27-5 (84.4%) under the total during the past three seasons. We're taking the under for our NBA picks.
