Our expert NBA handicapper shares his top three totals on Saturday’s card. Go inside before making any of your NBA picks today and enjoy his compelling betting preview.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Detroit Pistons 7:35 PM ET
These teams have seen each of their three encounters against one another this season go over the total. Those contests averaged a lofty 213.0 points scored per game.

Atlanta has scored 101 points or more in each of their previous seven games. During that stretch, Atlanta averaged 110.3 points scored per game, shot 47.8%, and also made an impressive 12.6 three point shots per outing. Atlanta will be playing with no rest on Saturday, and they’ve gone over the total in five of its last six games when placed into that exact situation.

Detroit is 7-1 over the total in its previous eight home games, averaging 112.9 points scored per outing, shot 49.0%, and made a stellar 39.2% of their three point attempts. Similar to their opponent on Saturday, Detroit will be playing with no rest. The Pistons are 6-0 over in its last six at home this season when playing on no rest, and there was a combined 218.4 points scored per game.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New York Knicks 7:35 PM ET
This will be the fourth meeting of the season between these NBA Eastern Conference rivals, and each of the previous three went under the total. Those contests saw only a combined 177.0 points scored per game, and went under the total by a sizable average of 22.8 points per contest.

New York has gone 12-2 under the total in its last fourteen games overall. As a matter of fact, New York has seen each of its previous six at Madison Square Garden go under the total, and there was a combined average of just 188.4 points scored per contest.

The current NBA odds at Bovada clearly provides me with a best number to make this wager.

Charlotte Hornets vs. Milwaukee Bucks 8:35 PM ET
All three meetings between these teams this season have gone under the total. There was only a combined 186.3 points scored per contest, and they went under the total by an average of 14.0 points per game.

Milwaukee has seen five of its last six outings stay under the total. The Bucks scored 96 points or less on five of those occasions, and averaged 92.5 points scored per game. Milwaukee has actually shot a very decent percentage in recent games, but they’ve also played at an extremely slow offensive pace in doing so.

I like this game to be a low scoring affair, and one of my Saturday NBA picks will follow that line of thinking.
