Our NBA handicapping expert cashed in on both of his NBA picks last night. He’s sharing all three totals picks on Thursday’s card in the betting preview article.

Kings vs. Heat 7:35 PM ET
Sacramento has seen five of its last six games stay under the total. They prefer an up tempo game but will be hard pressed to accomplish that against Miami. The Heat is masters of slowing the game down to a snail’s pace by NBA standards. Not to mention the fact that Miami is allowing only 91.5 points per game, holding opponents to just 40.5% shooting from the field, and that includes making just 28.3% of their three point attempts. I like this game to be a low scoring affair and one of my NBA picks on Thursday will echo that sentiment.

NBA Pick: Under 200 (-105) at 5Dimes

Bucs vs. Cavaliers 8:05 PM ET
Milwaukee has gone over the total in each of their previous three contests, and there was a combined average of 206.3 points scored per game. The Bucks are shooting a more than respectable 37.3% from beyond the three point line, and they’re converting on a stellar 79.5% of their free throw attempts. On a negative note, Milwaukee is allowing opponents to score 102.6 points per game this season.

Cleveland has gone over the total in five of their last six games. During that stretch, they scored 99 points or more on five occasions, and allowed 104 points or more four times. The Cavaliers are a perfect 5-0 at home this season, and are averaging 105.0 points per game.

Since the start of last season, these division rivals have seen four of their five meetings go over the total. According to current NBA odds.

NBA Pick: Over 194.5 (-105) at Pinnacle

Warriors vs. Clippers 10:35 PM ET
The Clippers enter today having gone over the total in five of their previous six games. As a matter of fact, they’ve gone over the total in seven of ten games this season, and there’s been a combined average of 209.3 points scored per contest.

Golden State is the most explosive offensive team in the NBA bar none. They’ve scored 109 points or more in nine of twelve games this season, and are averaging 114.2 points each time they’ve stepped onto the floor. The Warriors love a quick tempo to their games, and they’ll have a willing dance partner tonight with the Clippers.

Both of these teams will be well rested heading into tonight’s action. The Clippers haven’t played since a 101-96 home win over Detroit last Saturday, and this will be only their 2nd game in seven days. This will be just the third game in seven days for Golden State. The morale to the story, fresh legs are more times than not a prerequisite for good shooting, and will certainly aid in a quicker tempo for both sides.
