Our red-hot NBA odds analyst shares his two top totals picks on Monday’s card. He went 3-0 on Sunday, and is 5-1 during the last two days. Go inside to find out what those NBA picks.

Toronto Raptors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers 7:05 PM ET
Toronto is coming off a 115-113 loss to Chicago on Sunday. The Raptors have gone 13-3 under the total (188.7 PPG) during the past two seasons following a loss by 3 points or less. Toronto has scored 55 points or more in the first half of each of its previous two games.

Cleveland has gone under the total in their last seven games, and there was a combined average of only 183.4 points scored per contest. They’ve led their last two games by 23 and 11 points respectively at halftime.

Any team (Cleveland) with a total of 190.0 to 199.5, coming off two straight games in which they led at the half by 10 points or more, versus an opponent (Toronto) that scored 55 points or more in the first half of each of its last two games, resulted in those games going 22-3 (88%) under the total since 1996.  The average total in those 25 contests was 194.1, and there were 184.8 points scored per game. As a matter of fact, 17 of those 25 games (68%) went under the total by 7.0 points or more.

Current NBA odds clearly provides us with a best combination of number and price for this specific wager.

Boston Celtics vs. Brooklyn Nets 7:35 PM ET
Boston has gone 4-1 under the total during its previous five games. During that stretch, Boston allowed an average of 97.0 points per game, and held their opponents to a paltry 39.7% shooting from the field. These teams just met on Saturday in Boston, Brooklyn came away with a 100-97 win, and it went under the total of 203.0. Boston has gone a perfect 11-0 under the total (192.5 PPG) during the past two seasons, following a loss by 6 points or less.

Brooklyn is averaging just 97.2 points scored per game this season. The Nets are a horrible three point shooting team, converting on a terrible 31.6% of their attempts, and average only five made threes per contest.

I like this game to be a low scoring affair relative to the current total. One of my NBA picks on Monday will reflect that prediction.
