Our NBA odds consultant shares his three top totals selections on Thursday’s card. Go inside to find out what those picks are and why he’s opted for them.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Brooklyn Nets 7:35 PM ET
The early movement on this total has raised a red flag to me. TheGreek opened with a total of 195.5 in this contest, and has since moved to 196.5, despite 95% of early wagers being placed on going under the number. This is a classic case of reverse line movement, and surely indicates sharp money has been bet on this game going over the total. Considering the offensive struggles of both teams this season, a contrarian betting approach is in order.

NBA Pick: Over the total of 196.5 at TheGreek

Atlanta Hawks vs. Oklahoma City Thunder 8:05 PM ET
Current NBA odds at 5Dimes indicates that Atlanta is a 7.0 point underdog. Atlanta has gone 9-1 over the total during the past two seasons when they’re installed as a road underdog of 3.5 to 9.5. They’ll be facing an Oklahoma City team tonight that averages 108.5 points per game. These teams have met once this season, and the tempo of the game was played at a frantic pace. Atlanta had 90 field goal attempts, and Oklahoma City countered with 93 tries from the floor. I like this game to be a high scoring affair, and one of my NBA picks on Thursday will reflect that prediction.

NBA Pick: Over the total of 212 (-105) at 5Dimes

New York Knicks vs. Sacramento Kings 10:35 PM ET
Sacramento is averaging 105.2 points per game this season. The Kings are coming off a 114-106 win against Utah in their previous game. New York enters today averaging 96.7 points scored per contest. This leads us to an extremely profitable NBA betting angle which I’ve detailed below.

Any home team (Kings) with a total of 200 to 209.5, averaging 102 points or more per contest, and is coming off a game in which there was a combined 215 points or more scored, versus an opponent (Knicks) averaging 92.0 to 98.0 points per game, resulted in those games going 36-8 (81.8%) under the total during the past three seasons.

NBA Pick: Under the total of 208.5 (-105) at Heritage
