The Bulls are in the City of Brotherly Love on Wednesday night to play the 76ers, who are -6 home favorites. However, it’s the total that could hold all the value for your NBA picks.

Chicago is finally getting healthier outside of point guard Kris Dunn, who is likely still out tonight. That’s just going to make their bad defense even worse.

The Sixers aren’t without their own injury concerns; they also will likely be without a couple of their key guard role players. However, with the defense potentially shaky in this one, I like the over a lot for my NBA picks in what could be a fast-paced game.

The Sixers have cashed the over in four of their last five games overall, and they are 5-1 cashing the over in their last six home games. The Bulls, on the other hand, are 5-2 cashing the over in their last seven games overall, and on the road this season they are an impressive 16-8 cashing the over.

Earlier in the season these teams played to a 117-115 final score in Chicago. Tonight in Philadelphia, I see a similar final score that will surpass the total on the NBA odd board. These teams have combined to cash the over at 28-21-1 against Eastern Conference opponents, and in non-divisional games they are a combined 39-31-1 cashing the over.

With the Sixers playing at a pace of nearly 103 possessions per game this season, and the Bulls playing at a pace of 101.1 over the last month, look for this one to be fast paced and with little defense.
