Both the Nets and Wizards are coming off a game last night where they both put up some impressive numbers in wins against bad teams, However, now they are playing one another on no rest, and while that has been a situation where both teams cash the under this season, we could see a higher scoring game tonight in D.C.

Both teams have combined 3-0-1 cashing the over in each of their last two games on no rest, and that makes sense as we get later into the season.

The Nets have also not been strangers to giving up points on the second night of back-to-backs this year. Brooklyn is allowing 117.3 points per game in their seven games played on no rest this season, and while Washington hasn’t played many games on no rest this season, they have given up over 100 points in each of their last two games played on consecutive nights.

As we are firmly in the dog days of January, I see this one being a track meet with little to no defense. Brooklyn has played well in two games against the Wizards this season, and with John Wall back you know Washington will want to get some revenge from two games they probably should have won last month against Brooklyn.

All things considered, a higher scoring game is not that hard to believe. The Wizards are 4-1-1 cashing the over in their last six games, while the Nets have cashed it in two of their last three games.

Even though the under cashed in their first two games, I see this one speeding up, and a lack of defense on the horizon tonight for the over in this one.
