The Brooklyn Nets have agreed to a three-year, $52.5 million contract extension with Caris LeVert.

Per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, LeVert will earn $2.6 million this season, which means that the contract extension will start until the 2020-21 season, keeping him under contract with the Nets through the 2022-23 season.

With LeVert's extension, the Nets now have their core of LeVert, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, DeAndre Jordan and Spencer Dinwiddie under contract for at least the next three seasons.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

Here's Caris LeVert's overall impact through his first three seasons, as estimated by ESPN's Real Plus-Minus. Note that he played just 57 games in 2016-17 and 45 games (including the playoffs) this season. Brooklyn clearly believes he can progress entering ages 25-27. ;/a>
— Positive Residual (@presidual) August 26, 2019
"}[/]

According to Positive Residual: "LeVert has seen his usage increase in each of his three seasons to date, although his efficiency has not kept pace.
