Brooklyn just won big at Chicago a couple nights ago. Tonight's rematch in Brooklyn might not be as big of a blowout, but it will be big enough to take the hosts with your NBA picks.

NBA Monday: Bulls vs. Nets

Free NBA Pick: Nets -7

Best Line Offered: Bookmaker

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3264358, "sportsbooksIds":[93,180,139,238,999996], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

We talked about this during our play on the Bulls-Nets two nights ago, but it bears repeating: The Nets aren’t tanking. Cleveland owns Brooklyn's first-round draft pick because of a bad trade on the Nets' part.

While the Nets could have continued tanking and dwelling on how far the trade set them back, they have actually taken it as a challenge to win and compete in games in which they aren’t supposed to be competitive.

This has led to a 45-34 ATS record this season. While the Nets haven’t had as much success at home ATS, just one look at the body language and defensive effort from Chicago two nights ago is all you need to know about tonight's game:

[/]{"component":"video", "type":"youtube", "url":"", "videoSize":"Large" }[/]

Now that the Nets are at home, their offensive pace and efficiency should improve even more from their beat-down of the Bulls in Chicago. For those reasons, I’m taking Brooklyn and laying the points tonight with my NBA picks.

The Bulls will still be without their two best players, and if they taper or sit out Lauri Markkanen again tonight, they aren’t going to have any offense. The Nets are probably going to be without DeMarre Carroll again, but that shouldn’t matter too much.

Brooklyn, a -7 home favorite on the NBA odds board, has beaten Chicago twice this season by an average margin of 22.5 points. Although I doubt the Nets blow out the Bulls by that margin again, I see them winning by double figures.
