With one of the busiest NBA trade deadlines in recent history now behind us, we assess the damage as teams jostle for playoff positioning. While all eyes were focused on the Pelicans' Anthony Davis saga, many other teams made significant moves to both poise themselves for contention or free up cap space for future moves. How did sportsbook odds makers respond?

<p>About 16 hours before the trade deadline, Philadelphia acquired notable star player and should’ve been All-Star Tobias Harris from the Los Angeles Clippers, sending a clear message through the Eastern Conference. Clearly in win-now mode after getting Jimmy Butler for young assets and now, Tobias Harris for some of their most coveted draft picks and additional young players, teams around the East rushed to match what the 76ers had done. Just a few hours before the trade deadline ended, Toronto made a trade to get Grizzlies center Marc Gasol, Milwaukee went out and got Nikola Mirotic, and Boston with all of their assets decided to stand-pat but are rumored to be a big player in the buyout market.<br /><br />As one of the busiest trade deadlines has come and gone, we now are seeing the effects of LeBron leaving the Eastern Conference. Teams clearly feel more confident than they once did and it could be an indicator of moves and trades to come.<br /><br />For this season, however, the Bucks still look to be in pole position to grab the number one seed in the Eastern Conference given their success, roster continuity and the addition of another underrated stretch big-man in Nikola Mirotic.<br />[/]{"component":"video", "type":"youtube", "url":"", "videoSize":"Large" }[/]<br /><strong>2019 NBA Championship Odds</strong></p><table> <tbody> <tr> <td><b>Team</b></td> <td><b>Odds</b></td> </tr> <tr> <td>Golden State Warriors</td> <td>-240</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Toronto Raptors</td> <td>+800</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Boston Celtics</td> <td>+1200</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Philadelphia 76ers</td> <td>+1200</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Houston Rockets</td> <td>+1400</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Milwaukee Bucks</td> <td>+1400</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Oklahoma City Thunder</td> <td>+2500</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Denver Nuggets</td> <td>+2800</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Los Angeles Lakers</td> <td>+3000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Utah Jazz</td> <td>+5000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>San Antonio Spurs</td> <td>+5500</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Portland Trailblazers</td> <td>+6000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Charlotte Hornets</td> <td>+9000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Minnesota Timberwolves</td> <td>+10000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Indiana Pacers</td> <td>+10000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Detroit Pistons</td> <td>+10000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Miami Heat</td> <td>+10000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Los Angeles Clippers</td> <td>+12500</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Brooklyn Nets</td> <td>+12500</td> </tr> <tr> <td>New Orleans Pelicans</td> <td>+15000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Washington Wizards</td> <td>+15000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Dallas Mavericks</td> <td>+15000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Sacramento Kings</td> <td>+15000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Orlando Magic</td> <td>+20000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Memphis Grizzlies</td> <td>+30000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Atlanta Hawks</td> <td>+200000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Phoenix Suns</td> <td>+300000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Cleveland Cavaliers</td> <td>+400000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>New York Knicks</td> <td>+400000</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Chicago Bulls</td> <td>+400000</td> </tr> </tbody></table>
