Tonight's NBA betting odds offer a tough matchup. These two teams know each other very well, and both teams will want a win badly. Should we back the Thunder or Grizzlies with our sports picks tonight?

Odds Overview
The Thunder come into tonight as 5.5-point favorites on the NBA odds board, though there are a couple sportsbooks here and there that have a line of six for the taking.

The O/U is at 197 points as of now, but there's still time for that number to shift throughout the day. Keep checking back with SBR's live page to get the best possible number out there.

Oklahoma City Thunder
The Thunder may not be in the top eight in the West right now, but they're within striking distance, and they've got a great chance to rise up the standings now that they're healthy again. They're 27-25 on the season, which puts them in 10th place, though they're only one game back of Phoenix for that eighth and final spot. You'd be a fool to count out Oklahoma City at this point, even in spite of a forgettable first half to the team's season.

In terms of recent form, the Thunder have been surging a little bit. They've won two in a row and four of their previous five contests, a run that includes wins over the Clippers among other teams. Most recently, they outlasted Denver 124-114 on the road, shooting 53.8 percent from the floor overall and an impressive 50.0 percent (12-of-24) from beyond the arc. Kevin Durant had 40 points on 13-of-19 shooting (with seven threes), while Russell Westbrook went for 26 points, nine assists and five rebounds.

As you can see, both Durant and Westbrook appear healthy, and that's not good news for the rest of the NBA. When at full strength, those two can win games all by themselves, and we've seen that happen countless times before. If they can get a little help from the likes of Serge Ibaka and Dion Waiters, all the better. Don't forget about rookie Mitch McGary either, who's played well in two straight games after getting more responsibility due to the Steven Adams injury.

Memphis Grizzlies
Behind the league's top defense (ranked first in points allowed per game), the Grizzlies have once again been one of the top dogs in the Western Conference. They're in second place with a terrific 39-13 overall record, which has them three games back of first-place Golden State and three games up on third-place Houston. Memphis is in a great spot overall.

The Grizzlies are playing very well right now too, having won two in a row while going a nice 10-1 over their last 11 games overall. Included in there are standout wins over the likes of Atlanta, Dallas and this same Oklahoma City team, though that victory came at home. It's going to be much tougher out on the road.

Still, with the way Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol (along with Mike Conley) are playing, you can never count them out regardless of the situation. They're both going to have to be at their best for Memphis to have a shot of securing the W.

Our NBA picks on the Total include Grizzlies vs. Thunder.

NBA Pick
After careful consideration, we have opted to roll with the Thunder to win by six or more tonight. They're the more desperate team right now and also have the advantage of both home court and more rest. That shouldn't go unnoticed.

We expect a close game for the most part, but ultimately we like Oklahoma City's chances of getting a win in this spot.

With your sports picks, consider adding the Thunder against the spread, as they look to make up ground in the Western Conference playoff race. Durant and Westbrook should be feeling good in this one and we like them to lead the charge.
