We have 1 game remaining in the NBA Regular Season and the 8th spot in each respective conference is up for grabs. Russell Westbrook has already stated that he would rather have the 8th spot in the West instead of the title of top scorer in the NBA. Let's see how this comes into play with the NBA Player Betting Props.

Total Points For Russell Westbrook
Over 33.5 -125
Under 33.5 -105
The Thunder are looking for the 8th spot and they play the worst team in the NBA in the Minnesota Timberwolves. NBA odds makers have strategically placed the prop total high. Westbrook has averaged 45 points in his last 2 games. Even if the Thunder have this game in hand at the end of the 3rd quarter, they will take no chances. Look for Westbrook to go crazy in this game. Minny wants the worst record and Westbrook wants the playoffs.

NBA Player Props Pick: Over 33.5 -125

Total Rebounds For Russell Westbrook
Over 8 -125
Under 8 -105

We all know that Westbrook has turned himself into a triple-double machine. That said it is difficult for a 6 foot 3 point guard to reach 8 rebounds in a game. I'm leaning towards overs in Westrbook props tonight. In his last 2 games, he's averaging 10 rebounds per game. It's a bit of risk, but my money is on number 0 with my NBA picks. He's the most driven player in the NBA.

NBA Player Props Pick: Over 8 -125

Total Assists For Russell Westbrook
Over 9.5 -155
Under 9.5 +125

Odds makers are really putting bettors on the spot. Although I expect Westbrook to put up monster numbers, I also expect him to take matters into his own hands and that means a decline in his assist production. In the 2 previous games in which he averaged 45 points, he only averaged 7.5 assists per game. Let's fade the odds and take the under here as Westbrook will want the basketball in his hands as much as possible and will be a "ball hog." There's no other way to describe it.

NBA Player Props Pick: Under 9.5 +125

Total Points For Enes Kanter
Over 18 -125
Under 18 -105

Bovada is concerntrating primarily on the teams that are shooting for the number 8 spot in the playoffs. This means that we'll be focusing in on the Thunder. You have a tough prop here as Enes Kanter has been the perfect fit for the Thunder with 20 points or more in 6 out of his last 8 games. If he can produce 27 points and 13 rebounds against the Trail Blazers, he should have no problem scoring 19 points in this game.

The combination of Westbrook and Kanter has worked well since the trade with Westbrook feeding Kanter the ball in the paint. My only concern is if Westbrook decides "this is it" and would rather go for 50 points and look to be a one man show. This would take away from the production of the other players. My gut is telling me that under is the correct play.

NBA Player Props Pick: Under 18 -105

Total Points For Anthony Davis
Over 24.5 -125
Under 24.5 -105

He might not verbally express himself like Westbrook, but the Unibrow wants the number 8 spot in the playoffs also and his opponent in the San Antonio Spurs are much tougher than the T-Wolves.

In his last 8 games, Brow has only eclipsed the 24.5 point mark twice. He's an all round superstar that could poosibly be considered the best player and the future of the NBA. Davis isn't worried about hitting the 25 point mark. This game hinges on how Gregg Popovich plays it. Does he want to spoil the Pelicans parade? I don't see that happening.

One more factor is that Tyreke Evans has been looking to be more of an all-around point guard and less concerned with scoring. This can only help Davis' point production. Over is the play.

NBA Player Props Pick: Over 24.5 -125 at Bovada
