A huge slate of games awaits us on hump day. We've broken down numerous matchups and have our favorite NBA picks ready for viewing.

A lot of heavy favorites are on the board tonight, including the Rockets (-14 vs. LA), Trail Blazers (-12.5 vs. Orlando), Clippers (-10.5 vs. Boston) and Timberwolves (-8 vs. Phoenix).

Let's run over where we believe our best chances of beating the books can be found. As always, you can find a comprehensive list of the NBA betting lines at SBRodds.com.

Dallas Mavericks vs. San Antonio Spurs

Covered by Jason Lake

Who will deal with the tired legs better tonight? Both the Spurs and Mavericks played last night, but it's San Antonio that's the favorite (-7.5) on the NBA odds board.

On the year, the Spurs are 13-5 SU and 7-11 ATS at home, while the Mavericks are 8-9 SU and 11-6 ATS on the road. In spite of Dallas' good fortunes against the spread away from home, Jason believes San Antonio is the right side as they try to beat the Mavericks for the second time this season.

Pick: Spurs -7.5

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Houston Rockets

Covered by Jason Lake

The Lakers came into Houston and beat the Rockets by a point in November, so you have to think the Rockets won't be short of motivation in a rematch tonight.

The NBA betting lines are very lopsided, as Houston is favored by 14 points at home. The Rockets are 4-2 SU (2-3-1 ATS) over their last six games and have had a lot of rest ahead of this battle with Pau Gasol and the Lakers, who lost by 13 to the Mavericks last night. Jason is on Houston to win big.

Pick: Rockets -14

Phoenix Suns vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

Covered by David Lawrence

It's starting to look like the Suns are for real. They're at 20-13 SU for the season and have been an amazing money-maker (23-9-1 ATS) for consistent backers this season.

Can they keep it up when they face off against Kevin Love and the Timberwolves tonight? Though Minnesota's at .500 for the year, they've managed to win four of their last six, with their two losses coming by a combined six points to Oklahoma City and Dallas. After analyzing closely, David has selected Phoenix as his preferred play.

Pick: Suns +7.5

Boston Celtics vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Covered by Jeff Grant

We've seen the Celtics start to show their true selves over the past three weeks or so. After last night's embarrassing 98-129 loss in Denver, they've now dropped five straight and eight of their past nine.

There's a good chance they'll lose once again tonight, even against a Clippers team missing floor leader Chris Paul. The odds show LA favored by as many as 10.5 points, but Jeff's focusing on a total play – he expects the UNDER to cash inside Stapes Center.

Pick: UNDER 195.5

Indiana Pacers vs. Atlanta Hawks

Covered by Jeff Grant

There's something weird about this line. The Pacers have been a force to be reckoned with this season and are only favored by five points over a Hawks team that's been a complete mess since Al Horford went down.

Atlanta has lost three in a row and four of five, which includes road losses to Orlando, Brooklyn and Chicago. Meanwhile, Indiana has won three straight and eight of their previous nine contests. Regardless, Jeff thinks the home dog is the smart play with our NBA picks for Wednesday.

Pick: Hawks +5
