It’s a big night in the NBA, and I have been researching all night to come up with my two best NBA Picks of the day.

The NBA Odds are seemingly stacked with value, but you have to be careful, because some lines may be too good to be true. That’s why I am here, to help you along your journey through tonight’s huge NBA card.

Jazz vs. Wizards

The Wizards have been playing pretty solid basketball recently despite losing one of their better players for the rest of the regular season. Even without Nene, the Washington offense has been very good recently, and tonight against the lowly Jazz, I think Washington has a great shot at covering. The NBA Odds have the Wizards as -7 ½ favorites, with a total of 199.

Utah has lost three straight games SU, and their road woes this season have really been their downfall. Even against the East, the Jazz can’t catch a break when heading across the country. This season Utah is only 4-8 ATS when playing on the road against the Eastern Conference, and in those 12 games, the Jazz have only scored 91 points per game.

If those averages had West teams included in it, I could understand, but the Jazz are a bad basketball team, and even below average and bad teams are covering versus Utah. The Wizards are fighting for home court advantage in the playoffs, and even though I don’t think they will get there, they are still a very good team even without Nene. In fact based on their last few games, I could make the argument that Nene in the starting lineup slows this team down some, and he could be heading for the bench once he returns for the playoffs.

Even though they lost their most recent game, the Wizards were on a nice winning streak. In their four games prior to their loss to Memphis on the road, the Wizards were averaging 119 points per game in those four prior games. Even though there was some overtime in one of them, they still blasted the Raptors’ defense in regulation of that game. Utah is giving up around 101 points per game on the road this season, and the Wizards should meet and exceed that easily tonight.

My Pick: Wizards -7 ½

[gameodds]5/257451/?r-1=43-19-349/us[/gameodds]

Warriors vs. Celtics

Golden State is on their second and final long East Coast road trip, and tonight they head into Boston to play the Celtics. The NBA Odds have the C’s as +4 ½ home underdogs, with a total of 200 points. In their last East Coast trip, the Warriors cleaned house, however now late in the season, they are struggling to find consistency on the road.

Boston has been freefalling recently, losing six of their last seven games SU, however they are only 3-4 ATS in that stretch. The problem is, the Warriors have been very good on the road against the East this season, and I see it being Boston’s downfall against tonight, even as home underdogs. Boston is only 6-9-1 ATS as home dogs this season, and I see another loss ATS for them tonight.

Golden State is 8-6 ATS on the road against the East this season, and 13-11 ATS against the East overall this year. Even though they are not that good in the stacked West, the Warriors have the ability to beat up on bad East teams, even as they travel.

Boston is only 4-10 SU in their last 14 games overall, and they are only 13-17 ATS at home this season. Golden State on the other hand as gone 13-5 SU in their last 18 overall road games (10-8 ATS) and I see them winning and covering here tonight. The Celtics are only 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games against the Warriors.

My Pick: Warriors -4 ½

[gameodds]5/257452/?r-1=43-19-349/us[/gameodds]
