The three biggest favorites of the day are the Nuggets (-12.5 vs. Milwaukee), Thunder (-10 vs. Minnesota) and Rockets (-7.5 vs. Phoenix). Are you going to take on some heavy chalk as part of your NBA picks tonight?

The Knicks are struggling (again) and the rumors of Mike Woodson getting fired have surfaced once more. A victory over a good team in Portland could definitely help out around the New York camp, though as of now it's the Trail Blazers (-2) that are favored to win.
Portland has cooled off since their scorching-hot start to the season, but they're still a formidable foe for Carmelo Anthony and company. Jordan is avoiding a play on the spread in this spot and is getting drawn to the OVER in hopes of a shootout.
Pick: OVER 207

As soon as the Lakers got Steve Nash, Steve Blake and Jordan Farmar back from a various assortment of injuries, Pau Gasol was ruled out for at least a couple of weeks. That's the way it's gone for Mike D'Antoni's team this season.
Tonight Los Angeles will face off against the Cavaliers in Cleveland. The Cavaliers have been a mess as well, losing five games in a row, so Jason thinks we may as well take the points in this NBA betting situation. We don't blame him.
Pick: Lakers +6.5

Two of the worst teams in the NBA go head-to-head in the City of Brotherly Love tonight, with the Celtics acting as the two-point road favorites on this occasion. Combined these squads are 36 games under .500 so far this season.
Building for the future, it's hard to discern who to have the most faith in with our NBA picks tonight. The inconsistency has been maddening, but in the end David believe Philadelphia (with the points) is worth a play for this conference battle.
Pick: 76ers +2

Two of the best scorers in the NBA in Kevin Durant and Kevin Love will be on show in tonight's game in Oklahoma City. The Thunder are understandably heavily favored for this game, with sportsbooks listing the betting spread at 10 points.
The Timberwolves are coming off a win over the Lakers last night, but were perhaps pushed a little harder than they would have hoped for. With the Thunder playing such good basketball, it's no surprise to see Doug likes the home team to cover the large number.
Pick: Thunder -10

We've saved the best for last. The Heat, winners of two in a row, will take on a Clippers team that lost to the Nuggets at the buzzer two nights back.
The NBA odds are extremely tight for this one, with Los Angeles favored by a solitary point thanks to home-court advantage. The Clippers are an impressive 20-3 SU at home this season, while the Heat have mustered up a 14-9 SU record on the road. After breaking down the various angles, Jason is of the opinion that this is a good spot to fade the defending champions.
Pick: Clippers -1
