The Grizzlies got Mike Conley back and now they are slight home underdogs against the Jazz. The NBA Odds are undervaluing the Grizzlies and their loss to the Kings, so along with the Raptors, these two teams are the best teaser combination of the night.
Two Team Teaser
The Memphis Grizzlies just got back their starting point guard and while DeMarcus Cousins roughed them up on Friday, they are a great teaser value here for Sunday evening. With the Jazz coming in without their starting point guard still, the Grizzlies are in a nice spot to be a great first leg of our teaser.
The NBA odds have the Grizzlies as +1 ½ home dogs and teasing them to +6 ½ is just stealing money. With Mike Conley back and Marc Gasol playing like an MVP candidate, the Grizzlies own the two best players on the court.
The Jazz has been playing well, but the Grizzlies’ defense is on another level when they play at FedEx Forum. Memphis has allowed only 93.5 points per game at home and 91.8 allowed in their last five games.
On the other side, we have the Toronto Raptors, who are enjoying some warmer weather in Orlando on Sunday. Toronto is clearly the second best team in the East right now and while Orlando is finding their identity, the Raptors’ stars should shine here in this one.
Toronto has a great offense and they are scoring an average of 118.2 points per game in their last five contests. The Magic, on the other hand, have seen their defense fall apart lately. They are allowing nearly 115 points per game in their last five and after their tough loss to the Hawks, I see the Raptors getting some vengeance tonight.
