Rose & Noah return to Chicago as members of the Knicks and the Lakers carry significant momentum ahead of their game against the Warriors. This week's column explains why New York and Los Angeles can beat the NBA odds tonight.

Knicks vs. Bulls

I've been waiting for this game since the Derrick Rose trade went down... I've been a Bulls fan since I was a kid and I will always be grateful for what Rose and Joakim Noah did for the team. I will be rooting for my Bulls but there's money to be made with the Knicks in this spot.

Sure, New York is a mess right now, especially on defense, allowing 110.3 points per game (24th in the NBA), but this Knicks team is loaded with talent. An offense with Derrick Rose, Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis, Courtney Lee and Brandon Jennings will eventually explode and this could be the perfect game for that.

Derrick Rose has at least 13 points in every game, he's averaging a steal per game and he will be fired up, playing against his former teammates at the United Center, an arena that will always feel like home to him. This is not just another game for Rose, he has a chip on his shoulder and him and Anthony can go off and help the Knicks at least cover.

Warriors vs. Lakers

Can the Lakers beat a Warriors team that will be playing in the second game of a back-to-back after an emotional 122-96 win against the Thunder last night? No.

Even with Lakers head coach Luke Walton knowing this Warriors team so well? No.

Even with the Lakers playing relatively decent basketball? No... however, the Lakers are 4-1 ATS as an underdog and getting +11 points at home on the NBA odds board at Bookmaker, which makes them a high-value NBA pick.

Los Angeles has five players averaging double-digits in scoring and they rank 10th in the league with 107.2 points per game, so they have a chance to keep up with Golden State's offense. The Warriors give up 108.6 points per game, 22nd in the league and that poor defense, along with their lack of depth will cost them against a young team with nothing to lose and an aggressive head coach that would love to beat his former players and that has already led the Lakers to wins against the Rockets and the Hawks.

The Lakers can stay in the game behind Russell, Williams and Clarkson, so take them at +11 while you can.
