Our handicapper shares his top two totals on Sunday’s card. Go inside before making any of your NBA picks today, and profit from this intriguing betting preview.

Utah Jazz vs. Denver Nuggets
These NBA Northwest Division rivals have met three times this season, and each of those games easily stayed under the total. There was only a combined 177.0 points scored per game. Those contests were played at a turtle’s pace by NBA standards. Denver averaged an extremely low 73.7 field goal attempts per outing, and Utah only 77.3 a game.

The Jazz have limited their opponents to 88.8 points per game during its last thirteen contests. They’ve done so by slowing down the pace of their games more than stifling defensive play. Even though, Utah’s opponents have shot a less than impressive 43% during that time frame. Current NBA odds at Sportsbet.com has Utah as a 7.0 point favorite in this contest. Utah is 9-2 (81.8%) under the total as a road favorite this season, allowing opponents a paltry 88.2 points per game, and holding them to 40.3% shooting in those eleven contests. They’re also 13-4 (76.5%) under the total in its last seventeen outings overall, and have allowed 88 points or less in seven of their previous ten games.

Relative to the current total, I like this game to be a low scoring affair, and one of my Sunday NBA picks will concur with that assessment.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Philadelphia 76ers
These are two of the lower scoring teams in the NBA. Both average less than 100 points scored per game.

Milwaukee has gone 8-4 (66.7%) under the total during its last twelve games. They’ve scored just 95.9 points per outing during that stretch, and scored 98 or less on eight of those occasions.

Philadelphia has gone 9-3 (75%) under the total during their previous twelve games. They scored an uninspiring 97.6 points per game during that time period, and shot a poor 39.6% from the floor. As a matter of fact, they’ve shot less than 40.0% during seven of their previous eleven contests, and their high water mark was just 46.7% on 3/27 at Golden State during that stretch.
