Free NBA picks for both of the Tuesday night playoff matchups. Have the NBA odds makers left us any value on the boards, and will the lines move in our favor?

We are in deep in the NBA playoffs and for Tuesday we have two crucial games. The NBA Odds are fairly priced, so let’s see if we can make some money with our NBA picks on each of tonight's games.

Knicks vs. Pacers

The Knicks looked pitiful in Game 3 scoring, only 71 points for the whole game and the whole team collectively looked as sick as JR Smith. Smith as well as Kenyon Martin are now both not feeling well, and both will likely be less than 100% for this game tonight.

The NBA Odds favor the Pacers at -5 ½ for this game with a total of 180. After their impressive win in Game 3 where they were -4 ½ favorites, the sportsbooks have raised the stakes another point for Game 4 in Indiana.

The Knicks have not had much success against the Pacers in Indianapolis, which not only goes back in the last year but for much longer than that. New York is 1-3 ATS in their last four trips to Indiana. They are also 1-4 SU in their last five trips to Conseco Fieldhouse and they are 2-4 SU in their last six meetings overall against the Pacers. In their history against one another, the Pacers are 20-18 SU against the Knicks in the playoffs.

With so many Knicks banged up and with the Pacers playing like the better team, I’m laying the points with Indiana. I think the Knicks are once again overvalued here. Even if Carmelo Anthony goes off, there has not been any other Knicks player that can step up against this stout Indiana defense. I see another solid eight or nine point win for the Pacers. They have beaten the Knicks four times in a row at home.

My Pick: Pacers -5 @ The Greek

Warriors vs. Spurs

This one should be as advertised tonight in San Antonio, as the Spurs come into this game as -7 favorites in the NBA Odds, with a total of 195. While I am hesitant to bet either side of this line or total, I do see some value in the first half spread, which sits favoring to the Spurs at -4.

In the last two games, the Spurs have been leading and covering the first half spread and they have done that in every one of their games this postseason with the exception of two. The Spurs are 6-2 SU in 1Hs this postseason and at home tonight in a 2-2 series, I see the Spurs coming out and being the hotter team.

In Game 4, the Warriors won that game late after the Spurs led most of the game. Even though I doubt the Spurs cough up another game late, I do see them starting out hot and covering the 1H spread once again this postseason.

On top of their success in the first halves of postseason games, the Spurs are really good at keeping the Warriors from their rhythm early in the ball game. The Warriors are only averaging about 21 points per quarter in the first halves of the last two games. For the second of my free picks, I see the Spurs being up by a solid amount at the half.

My Pick: Spurs -4 1H @ BetDSI
