With a lot of high scoring teams in NBA action for Tuesday, will we see a lot of overs in the prop betting that’s offered by the books? Let’s take a look and break down the games with some winning NBA picks.

Fade Philly Rule

Being that the Philadelphia 76’ers have the worst defense in the league and are sending out bench players to start the game, the fantasy league rule is to stack players against Philadelphia. When making props bets, we might see a lot of over the totals, especially in where the Sixers are concerned.

Total Points For Kevin Durant

Over 28.5 -135

Under 28.5 +105

The over appears to be a “slam dunk” in this prop as not only have the Sixers lost 14 games in a row, they also allow a league’s worst 110.7 points per game. Add in the fact that Kevin Durant is the most prolific scorer in the game and this is an easy over. The only thing that would stop this from being an over is if Durant sits in the 4th quarter due to a blowout. I’ll take my chances.

Pick- Over 28.5 -135

Total Points For Russell Westbrook

Over 18.5 -135

Under 18.5 +105

This is another easy over as Westbrook is one if not the best point guard in basketball. The 18.5 points is quite low for a player such as Westbrook ,who has averaged well over 20 points for his career. Westbrook will get plenty of opportunities to drive the ball through the Sixers Swiss Cheese-like defense and he has an above average outside shot.

Pick- Over 18.5 -135

Total Rebounds and Blocks for Serge Ibaka

Over 11.5 -135

Under 11.5 +105

Ibaka gives the Thunder his usual 8 to 10 rebounds and 2+ blocks per game. With an inept Philly offense,  Ibaka could get many more chances and with Spencer Hawes traded, Ibaka should have less resistance to deal with. Make this a small bet, but I like the over here also.

Pick- Over 11.5 -135

Total Points For Thaddeus Young

Over 21.5 -125

Under 21.5 – 105

With Jrue Holiday no longer a 76’er, Thaddeus Young has been a flatout beast all season long. Young is coming off of a huge performance against Orlando with 29 points and 8 rebounds. Along with Michael Carter Williams, Young has been one of the go to guys on this team. That said, he faces the best team in the West and on the road. Look for Young to underperform in tonight’s contest. The total is a bit high.

Pick- Under 21.5 -105

Total Points For Lebron James

Over 29.5 -130

Under 29.5 –EVEN

Lebron feasted off of a weak Charlotte Bobcats defense in his last game to put up 61 points. This was done without Dwayne Wade and Wade’s status does have a bearing on this prop.

I’m going to assume that Wade plays because he tends to sit out unnecessarily at times. The other issue is the clear mask that the NBA forced Lebron to wear. It didn’t seem to bother him at all. Don’t expect 61 points, but LBJ should crack the 30 point mark quite easily in a fast paced game against the Rockets.

Total Points For Blake Griffin

Over 24.5 -130

Under 24.5- Even

Griffin is looking like he did in his rookie season; full of confidence and having a great chemistry with CP3. That said, Griffin’s number have tailed off just a bit in his last few games. He’s failed to score more than 23 points in his last 4 games. Although tonight’s matchup against Phoenix seems appealing, look for Griffin to stay under the 23 point mark in what’s expected to be a fast paced game.

Pick- Under 24.5- Even
