Free NBA picks for a few of tonight's biggest matchups. Where do our NBA handicappers believe that the best value lies, and how do we plan on cashing in?

The NBA regular season is winding down and the lines are getting tighter and tighter. Let's examine the NBA betting odds for tonight's action and see where we're best off placing our sports picks.

Portland Trail Blazers vs. Milwaukee Bucks

We like this spot for the Trail Blazers, whom are getting five points on the road against Milwauke. The total is at 208.

Portland couldn't get their road trip off to a positive start last night in a 101-100 loss to Philadelphia. Huge games from LaMarcus Aldrdige (32 points and 14 rebounds) and Damian Lillard (27 points, seven rebounds, seven assists) went for naught.

This season the Trail Blazers have been decent in back-to-back situations, going 6-7 SU and 7-6 ATS. They're 8-2-2 ATS over their last 12 overall and 3-1-1 ATS in their past five road contests. They run into a Milwaukee team that's 12-16 ATS when playing on one day of rest.

The Bucks are coming off a come-from-behind win at home over Orlando, in a game they were losing for a majority of the time.

It's hard to put our faith in Milwaukee after struggling to get past a future lottery team in Orlando on their own floor, especially with Ersan Ilyasova (back, doubtful) Luc Mbah a Moute (toe, out) both unlikely to play.

Defense has gone down the toilet for the Bucks, as they've allowed an unacceptable 110.0 PPG on 49.8 percent shooting over their previous five matchups.

With an 0-4 ATS mark over their last four contests and a very poor 18-39 ATS record over their previous 57 home games dating back to last season, we are staying away from the Bucks and instead placing our NBA picks on the visiting Trail Blazers. Aldridge has been on fire and should torch Milwaukee's weak interior this evening.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Sacramento Kings

To wrap up our free picks for the night, we are recommending a play on the OVER as the Clippers take the short trip to do battle with the Kings

Looking over the odds, we see L.A. favored by 9.5 points, while the total is at 209. The Clippers have covered the spread in four of the past five meetings between these divisional foes.

Sacramento has alternated losses and wins over their last five games, beating Chicago (121-79) and Phhoenix (121-112) and losing to Golden State (87-83), Milwaukee (115-113) and the L.A. Lakers (113-102).

The Kings have actually been doing quite well by their standards, particularly since DeMarcus Cousins has been out with injury. He's listed as questionable for tonight's game, with Tyreke Evans (foot) also likely to be a game-time call.

The Clippers have been off since Sunday's 93-80 win at home over New York. They haven't been nearly as dominant lately overall, as evident by their 3-3 SU (2-4 ATS) record over their previous six, though the three losses came against Oklahoma City, Memphis, and Denver.

With uncertainties with injuries and inconsistent form for both teams, we aren't going to touch this large spread. Instead, we see value on the OVER in a game that should see a ton of points on the scoreboard.

The OVER is 21-9 in Sacramento's home games this season and is 13-3-1 in their previous 1 matchups overall. L.A's offense has been struggling to find its groove over their last two games, but this seems like a great spot for them to bust out against a Kings team allowing 104.9 PPG this season.

Free NBA Pick: OVER 209
