For Friday's NBA action we have 2 plays, one on the under & one over.  Look for Miami & Cleveland to really push a lot of pace tonight and for the Jazz & Sixers to struggle putting up points.

NBA odds
NBA odds makers have to total set for the Miami Cleveland game at 197.5.  For this game I will be backing over the total and you can get good odds at Pinnacle Sports -110.  In Philadelphia look for the Utah Jazz and Sixers to lack some offensive punch, so I will be backing the under in this spot at 188.5.  You can find those odds at 5 Dimes -110.  Two solid totals to add to my NBA picks tonight.

Miami vs. Cleveland
Against Charlotte Miami scored 104 points, shot 49.3% from the field, and 60% beyond the arc.  They were pretty consistent on the offensive end and it looks like they could make some noise in the East this season.  Defensively they were decent and solid beyond the arc allowing the Hornets to just shoot 25% from distance.  Don't expect them to have that type consistency against a Cavs offense that will move the ball a lot better and knock down more than their share of 3's.

In two games Cleveland has averaged 100.5 points, 44.4% from the field, and 37.9% beyond the arc.  Now with a year under David Blatt's system they should be even more efficient from the field.  Defensively they have some really nice statistics in two games but that is mostly due to the poor shooting night the Grizzlies had against them and not them being in lockdown mode.  I expect them to play well but not well enough to limit a talented Miami team from scoring with them.

NBA Pick: Miami Heat & Cleveland Cavaliers OVER 199.5 (-110) at Bet DSI

Utah vs. Philadelphia
Versus the Pistons Utah scored 87 points, shot 46.7% from the field, and 16.7% from beyond the arc.  I like the makeup of this team overall but they definitely could use one or two more shooters.  Gordon Hayward and Derek Favors will be the go to guys but after that they are pretty thing with just Rodney Hood and Alec Burks.  They just got up 75 shots against the Pistons and it seems like they are going to be one of the teams in the league that will have to control pace to be successful.  Defensively they did a nice job against Detroit slowing the game down and I am expecting the same type of plan tonight.

Against Boston Philadelphia scored 95 points, shot 40.5% from the field, and 31.8% from beyond the arc.  It doesn't seem like much has changed for them and it looks like they will have a very rough year.  Jahil Okafor is a nice addition but like Utah they are not deep.  Against the Celtics they got the chance to run and get out in space.  I don't anticipate that same type of action tonight.

NBA Pick: Utah Jazz & Philadelphia 76ers UNDER 187.5 (-110) at Bet365

Final Analysis
One really good game for us and one definitely off the radar but both with some value in my opinion.  For a couple of your NBA picks I suggest taking the over in an entertaining matchup with the Cavs and Heat and then under the total with a less than stellar game between Utah and Philadelphia.
