We split a pair of our NBA picks of the day last night with the Celtics not showing up to their game against Houston, and now with Saturday here, we are looking at another large slate of NBA odds, and hopefully, winning NBA picks.

Pelicans vs. Bucks
One of the more intriguing inter-conference games from an NBA odds perspective is the Bucks and Pelicans playing from Milwaukee tonight. The Bucks come into this one as a -5 ½ favorite at home, with a total of 209 ½. The Pelicans had to play last night into overtime and lost to a really banged up Grizzlies team, and now they have to head into the BMO Harris Bradley Center to play a Bucks team that has been more up and down than a roller-coaster at Six Flags this season.

However, even though the Pelicans have been the worst team in the NBA cashing the over on the road this season, they have actually improved a bit from their early season road scoring woes, and have cashed the over at 4-3-1 in their last eight road games. While New Orleans is really banged up in their backcourt, they still have what it takes to scored, and especially give up points tonight on the second half of a back to back.

The Pelicans are also the worst team on the second night of a back to back cashing the over, however, they come into this one cashing the over in four straight games and eight of their last 11 games, and they have cashed the over at 5-4-1 in their last 10 road games.

The Bucks should be able to take advantage of the Pelicans playing into overtime last night and score plenty of points tonight, and even laying the -3 on the first half with the Bucks isn’t out of the question. The Bucks are 11-7 cashing the over in their last 18 home games, so add it to your NBA picks tonight, and ignore the fact that the Pelicans have been bad on no rest and on the road.

Wizards vs. Nuggets
Washington is yet another team coming off the back-to-back tonight as the head into Denver to play the Nuggets. Washington predictably got blown out by the Jazz last night after giving up 114 points to the slowest paced team in the league, and now they head into the altitude of Denver on the second night of a back to back as a +1 underdog, with a total of 212 ½.

While I am tempted to fade the Wizards once again, considering Bradley Beal still looks banged up, instead the total is once again looking like the safer wager. The over in this one once again has some value, and it starts with the Wizards. Washington is 11-5 this season cashing the over when playing on no rest, and in their last four games playing off the back to back, they have given up 108 points per game.

The Nuggets on the other hand have been enjoying a nice and long home stand which ends after tonight, and while they are only 3-3 cashing the over during this current stretch, the Nuggets have been one of the best over cashing teams when playing at home this season at 21-11, and as we talked about earlier in the week, the Nuggets speed up a lot when playing at home. They go from a middle of the road pace team to a top ten pace team when playing at home, and against a tired Wizards team coming off the back to back, who also play very fast already, the over should sky over in this one.

The Nuggets have been stellar offensively recently, which is another reason I really like the over in this one. Denver is averaging 113 points per game during their current home stand, and in their last 15 games overall the Nuggets are averaging 108 points per game. Compare that to Washington who is giving up 105 points per game in their last nine games, and nearly 110 in their current four game losing streak, and the over looks great tonight.
