We got back on track in a big way on Sunday evening, with two big wins in our NBA Picks, and I am looking to parlay that into a couple of more wins in tonight’s large slate of NBA Odds.

Magic vs. Knicks
The Knicks have quietly been playing better, and while their most recent win came at the hands of a Bulls team that had just gone four overtimes the night prior to having to travel into New York, the Knicks have been looking better. They are winners of their last four games SU, and while I want to tail them again tonight against a team that just had another hard fought game last night, the total seems like the better investment here on a Monday evening.

On offense the Knicks have been slowly climbing out of the cellar, and that’s even with young rookie phenom, Kristaps Porzingis going into a mini-shooting slump. Over their last ten games, the Knicks are averaging over 101 points per game, and in their four-game SU winning streak they are averaging more than 108 points per game. While the Magic’s defense is very solid under head coach, Scott Skiles, the Magic have also been very predictable on the second night of a back to back this season.

Orlando is 4-0 this season cashing the over on the second night of a back to back, and in those four games they have given up an average of nearly 108 points per game. One of those games did go into overtime, but if you just take the amount given up during regulation and factor it into the average, they are still giving up nearly 106 points per game on the second night of a back to back. I see the Knicks continuing their hot stretch from the offensive end, and with tired legs, he Magic should give up well over 100 points tonight.

Nets vs. Bulls
Brooklyn played yesterday afternoon in a hard-fought game against the Wolves, where they were once again blown out of their own building. Tonight they travel into the United Center in Chicago, where the Bulls are big -10 favorites, with a total of 198 on the NBA odds. While Chicago has been anything but a consistent ATS team this season, after a few nights of rest from their loss to the Knicks, and with Chicago likely getting back Pau Gasol tonight after he was rested against New York, I see the Bulls continuing their recent dominance of the Nets.

Coming off the back to back this season, the Nets are a very good 4-1 ATS, however, that was mostly earlier in the season with fresher legs. Outside of a bad loss to the Nets last season right before the New Year, the Bulls have won and covered in four of their last five against the Nets, and in those four games Chicago’s average margin of victory was more than 21 points.

Chicago is obviously not the greatest team right now, and they do have a disturbing history of playing down to their competition, but tonight against the Nets who are coming off the back to back, and already don’t play any defense, the Bulls should be able to dominate once again in route to a win. I am following the recent trends of Bulls and Nets games and laying the points as the NBA pick.
