We bounced back in a big way on Friday night, barely splitting a pair of NBA Picks of the day and hitting on two out of our three total NBA Picks. Now the NBA odds for the weekend are upon us, and I am back to release my two best bets for tonight’s NBA odds.

Pacers vs. Wizards
There has been a lot of talk about how the Thunder have blown a lot of fourth quarter leads this season, but the Pacers are right there with OKC and the Sixers in that regard. This team can’t seem to keep it together in the final minutes of games, and tonight they come off another loss where they were dominated in the fourth quarter to play the Wizards in Washington, DC. Washington is also coming off getting beat up in Cleveland, and the NBA odds makers have the Pacers as +2 underdogs in this one, with a total of 207 ½.

While the spread does entice me some with a potential play on the Pacers taking the points, the better wager might be the total of 207 ½. These two teams are playing way too fast for a total this low, and with the Wizards cashing the over extremely well on the second night of a back to back, the over is the play for me tonight.

Washington is 11-4 this season cashing the over on no rest, and while coming into this one they have cashed the under in two straight games, these two teams have cashed the over against one another in both their meetings so far this season, and in their last five games against one another dating back to the beginning of last season.

Indiana easily cashed the over last night as well, and while they have not been great at cashing the over on the second night of a back to back this season, both of these teams have paces inside the top nine in the NBA. Look for a fast-paced game with little defense at the Phone Booth tonight.

Rockets vs. Bulls
The Houston Rockets and Chicago Bulls are in similar situations this season. They both were expected to compete for a conference championship, and now they both are faced with potentially not making the playoffs altogether. Tonight in Chicago, the Bulls come in as a -1 favorite at some shops, and a +1 home dog at others, with a total sitting at 216 points.

Since Jimmy Butler went down, the Bulls have been horrible, going 3-8 SU in the 11 games he has missed, and it has pushed them all the way out of the Eastern Conference playoff picture. With all of their injuries, I believe they should just tank, get a nice draft pick, get healthy and move onto next season, but even without Tom Thibodeau running the show this season, I’m sure they are going to fight and claw their way back into the playoffs, and it starts tonight.

Lucky for the Bulls, and probably unlucky for James Harden is the return of Butler tonight. With Derrick Rose back and looking pretty good as well, this is a dangerous duo for the Rockets, who struggle at times to defend guard and wing players especially. Butler’s absence will probably come with some rust, but his defense against Harden will be enough to give the Bulls a win in this one. While Chicago has been one of the worst ATS teams in the league this season, now that Butler is back, the sportsbooks are undervaluing them tonight at home.
