We had another nice night of NBA Picks on Saturday going 2-1, and now Sunday is here with four more big NBA Odds up for grabs here tonight.

Warriors vs. Rockets
The big news for this one is that Steve Kerr came out on Saturday and said that he expects Stephen Curry to play. This has pushed the NBA Odds up some to favor the Warriors at -9, with a total of 217 ½. However, while I’m not surprised that the spread has jumped like it has, the total stayed neutral with the news that Curry is on track to play. He went through shootaround and practice over the last two days, and while Curry’s presence surely helps the Warriors’ offense, it also ensures that will likely pick up the pace some in this one.

In their Game 3 loss to the Rockets, the Warriors played at a pretty fast pace of 97.1, but neither team had their shots falling in that one. The Warriors shot only 43 percent from the floor for the game, and the Rockets shot even worse at 39 percent. That won’t stay the same in Game 4, especially with Curry back on the court for the Warriors.

The pace will likely increase some with Curry back, and of course the Warriors Offensive Rating goes up about ten full points with Curry back on the court. That being said, I think a teaser is the best way to attack these NBA odds. Teasing the Warriors down to -5 for the game, long with the over at 213 ½ is the best way to go. The Rockets won’t shoot as bad as they did, and both teams will push the pace in this one. I’m expecting an outcome much more similar to Game 2 in this one, where even though the pace was a little slower, both teams shot much better from the floor.

Hawks vs. Celtics
Speaking of games that played at a faster pace, the Celtics made some big changes for Gam3 3 and it paid off big time. First, they started little used Jonas Jerebko and also put Evan Turner into the starting lineup. Secondly, they pushed the pace a lot, and played at a pace of over 100 possessions per 48 minutes. This led to a much higher scoring game, and a game that the Celtics dominated. I expect more of the same in this one, with the NBA Odds makers favoring the Celtics at -2, with a total of 204 ½.

Another big change the Celtics made was taking the ball out of Isaiah Thomas’ hands and putting him off the ball. This led to a big spike in points for the C’s guard, as he scored a career-high 42 points. Turner and Marcus Smart handled the ball well in Game 3, and with all of this considered, the over looks like a tremendous play to go right back to with the sportsbooks still having the total in the low 200s.

Boston was very good at home during the regular season, averaging over 106 points per game. A big reason for this, and I can’t believe I missed this before Game 3, is they were the second fasted paced team in the NBA when playing at home, behind only the Kings. They played at a pace of 102 possessions per 48 minutes at home this year, and while it didn’t lead to their Offensive Rating improving much, it was interesting to see their opponent’s struggle at times with how much they pushed the ball. I expect that to continue in this NBA pick. I predict that both teams will once again score into the 100s .
