For the final time in the 2015 calendar year, I’m back with more winning NBA Picks! There aren’t too many options on the boards here this evening, but for the games that are being played tonight, I am here to release my best two plays from Thursday’s NBA Odds.

Timberwolves vs. Pistons
Last night the Wolves took care of the Jazz easily at home, and now they don’t have to fly very far to get to Detroit for their last game of 2015. However, while their win against Utah may seem like a big deal, the Jazz have been hit by the injury bug recently, and they were without both of their big men and of course without Alec Burks who will be out for some time now. The Jazz are easily beatable without their frontcourt in order, but what about the Pistons now who have one of the best centers in the NBA?

Karl-Anthony Towns had a huge game last night to beat the Jazz, but will he be up to the task of keeping Andre Drummond off the boards this evening. Drummond has been a monster this season, and when the Pistons get rest in between their games, it usually adds up to an ATS win. While the Wolves are only 2-3 ATS this season playing on the second half of a back to back, when playing on one day’s rest in between games, the Pistons are 10-5-1 ATS this season.

That being said, the Pistons look like the play here. They have been up and down this season, but with the NBA odds favoring Detroit by only -7 against a team that played last night, laying the points seems like it’s a value. Minnesota is only 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 games overall, including their win last night ATS, and the Wolves are 1-6 SU in their last seven road games, and only 2-4 ATS in their last six road games. Dating back to last season Detroit is 17-5-1 ATS at home, and they are allowing about a point less than their average defensively against Western Conference teams.

NBA Pick: Pistons -7.5

Best Line Offered: at 5Dimes

Suns vs. Thunder
The Thunder have been very good this season and are playing themselves back into the Western Conference Championship conversation, but their ATS records both at home and the road are a little off putting. However, the NBA Odds tonight have the Suns as +15 underdogs on the road in this one, just a day after getting beat down by the Spurs 112-79.

While the Spurs have been the best defensive team in the NBA so far this season, the Suns shouldn’t struggle to score like they did last night here in OKC. The loss of Eric Bledsoe for the season is concerning, but overall the Thunder should be a lot easier to score on, as they give up over 100 points per game on average.

That’s why I am leaning towards the over, even with the high total of 210 points. The Thunder have one of the better offenses in the league this season, and if the Spurs can dump 112 points on the Suns, then the Thunder should be able to easily meet or even exceed that number. The Suns have given up 105 points per game this season overall, but on the road it worsens to 108 points per game, and in their last ten games the Suns have given up 106 points per contest.

The first time these teams met up this season the total went over, as OKC dropped 124 points, and the over is 6-2 in the last eight times these teams have played one another. Take OVER with your NBA picks.

NBA Pick: OVER 210.5

Best Line Offered: at Pinnacle
