We nailed both of our NBA best bets for Monday’s slate, and once again we have a wealth of NBA Odds to choose from for Tuesday night’s slate. I have once again found my two best NBA Picks.

Clippers vs. Pacers
The Clippers continue their East Coast road swing tonight in Indianapolis to play the Pacers, and the NBA Odds have Indiana as a +1 home underdog in this one, with a total of 208½. While the Pacers have been pretty bad on the road against the West this season, at home they have been a little better, but they are still only 2-5 ATS.

However, the Clippers are in the midst of some crazy developments regarding Blake Griffin, and while there has been no word on how it happened, Blake Griffin reportedly has a broken hand that was sustained in an “undisclosed team-related incident,” and while it looked as if he was close to making a return, he might be out several more weeks for this Clippers team.

Now, I’m not one to speculate, but something like an “undisclosed team-related incident,” sounds a lot like he punched someone or something, and if that’s the case, how dysfunctional are the Clippers? This team has always had a stigma about them for being filled with drama and not being able to win despite having an abundance of talent, and if they are dealing with Griffin potentially punching people in the face, who knows how they are going to look tonight against a Pacers team that has been much better at home than on the road.

Indiana is 11-8 ATS when playing at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, and while the Clippers have been very good this season playing without Griffin, they are only 4-4-1 ATS when playing on the road against the Eastern Conference, and their road defense this season has been remarkably average. While the Pacers’ defense hasn’t been much better, at home they tend to play a little better on that end of the floor, and I see them taking care of the dysfunctional Clippers tonight at home.

Kings vs. Blazers
The Kings were in another epic overtime game last night at home against the Hornets, and while we correctly cashed the winning ticket on the Hornets last night as big road underdogs, the Kings have seen their NBA Odds shoot upward from last night’s game. I tweeted out last night that I wondered how many people were waking up their bookies after that Kings game last night to lay the -2 with the Blazers, and since this morning it seems as if a ton of people have done just that. The NBA Odds now sit at -5 in favor of the Blazers after moving three full points overnight, but even though fading the Kings on the back to back has been a good play recently, they are still above .500 ATS when playing on the second half of a back to back.

However, after their epic double overtime loss last night, and after DeMarcus Cousins dropped 56 points, the Kings and Cousins will likely be tired, and if it’s one thing we can count on from the Kings even when they’re not tired, it’s that their defense is not good.

The Kings are already one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA, and on the second half of a back to back, it’s been even worse. The Kings are 7-4 this season cashing the over on no rest, and when playing their second game in two nights, the Kings give up an average of more than 110 points per game. With a total that has surprisingly gone down since it opened to 214, the over is definitely the play tonight with the Kings probably getting into Portland really late last night.

The Blazers are 12-9 cashing the over at home this season, and they have cashed the over at 4-2 in their last six home games. The Kings have done the same on the road in their last six games away from Sleep Train Arena, so add the over and bank on the Kings not being able to physically play much defense tonight against Portland. Take Over as the NBA pick.
