It appears the gambling gods have stricken me with a mini slump in my daily NBA picks. No matter, as Sunday's NBA Odds feature another pair of NBA Picks that look ripe with value.

Nuggets vs. Pelicans
Neither team had to play last night on Saturday, so both teams should be well rested heading into this one. The Nuggets have been playing slightly better without Brian Shaw, however the offense has been the main area of improvement, not the defense, tonight against the Pelicans, that could be a problem against Anthony Davis and friends.

Tonight the NBA odds have the Pelicans as -6 ½ favorites, and while I do think that’s probably a pretty good play, the total of 205 is probably a better one. With the pace and lack of defense that this game should be played at, the over looks like the play.

The Pelicans have cashed the over in 13 of their last 19 games overall recently, ad they are 19-7 cashing the over against losing teams. On top of that the over is 9-3 in the Pelicans last 12 home games, and it’s 24-8 in their last 32 games this season versus a team with a road winning percentage of less than 40%.

The Nuggets on the other hand have cashed the over in 18 of their last 26 games on Sundays, which is surprising considering most clubs cash the under on Sundays. Either way this one should be fast-paced and have plenty of scoring.

Knicks vs. Suns
The Knicks got worked once again last night against the Warriors, and now on the second night of a back to back, they have another tough one against the Suns in Phoenix. Although the Suns are a little banged up right now, missing two of their starters, the Knicks are still a huge +11 ½ underdog in this one, with a total of 193 ½.

Alex Len and Brandon Knight will both be out of this game thanks to bad ankle sprains. That means the Suns will have to have their second guard spot by committee tonight, with TJ Warren, Gerald Green and Archie Goodwin taking over most of the minutes Knight is leaving behind. Len’s absence is almost more severe for the Suns, because after Brandon Wright, they don’t have a ton of big man depth.

This could lead to more minutes for a smaller roster for the Suns, and it could also mean more points for the Knicks. Without a credible rim protector (Wright is good but he can’t play 48 minutes in this game) for the entire game, the over could once again be the play here. You have two teas who play at the exactly opposite pace tonight, however if the Suns start to run and get out in front like most teams have done to the Knicks this season, it forces them to abandon their snails pace and speed up their offense. This could also have positive impacts on the low total of 193 ½ tonight. The Suns should have no issue scoring into the 100s tonight, and with their defense battered little missing two of their better defenders tonight, the over could once again be the NBA pick here on Sunday.

NBA Pick: OVER 193 ½
