We have been steady with our NBA picks over the last week, and yet another big week should start out well tonight with two more of my NBA best bets.

Suns vs. Bulls
The first time these two teams played this season, the Bulls won and covered the spread on Phoenix back about three weeks ago. Now tonight in Chicago, the Bulls come in as a -6 favorite, with a total of 202 in this one. While the Bulls have looked bad at times this season, they have also looked like a championship contender too. While it remains to be seen which Bulls team we will see tonight, let alone the rest of the season, the Suns are dealing with a couple of injuries and a personnel conflict that could lead to them being short handed tonight.

Tyson Chandler has missed the last week plus for the Suns and indications are that he might be out again tonight against Chicago. This will put a ton of pressure on the rest of the Suns bigs, and it could lead to the Bulls controlling the paint, which has been a formula for success with them this season. Chicago has been a horrible rebounding team this season, as they give up nearly 49 rebounds per game at home. However, with Chandler doubtful, and the Suns dealing with the awkward situation of Markieff Morris, I see the Bulls winning and covering in this one rather easily. Morris was a healthy DNP-CD in the Suns’ last game, and considering he is by far their third best player, the concerns over his tenure with the team are back again. This leaves the Suns with virtually no starting caliber big men, and it will also lead to the Bulls controlling the glass and covering. Even though Chicago is only 2-7 ATS at home this season, the Suns have only covered in two of their last nine games overall.

Clippers vs. Wolves
One of the final games of the evening happens to be the Clippers heading on the road into Minnesota to play the Wolves, and the NBA odds have the Clippers as -1 road favorites, with a total of 202½. While the spread may seem like the prototypical trap game considering the health concerns of the Clippers, even if LA doesn’t have Chris Paul or JJ Redick in this one, I think the sportsbooks are still overvaluing the Wolves here.

After a hot start to the season, Sam Mitchell’s club has fallen back down to earth, and they are looking like the young team they are supposed to be. Minnesota has lost nine of their last 13 games SU, and they are only 1-9 ATS at home this season. The Clippers on the other hand have won four of their last five games SU, and while they aren’t covering very much yet, this line is the first time all season I can comfortably say that LA is undervalued.

On top of that, Doc Rivers says he is optimistic that Redick might be able to play tonight, which will add to the value we’re getting on the Clippers. The Wolves are only 1-8 ATS in their last nine games at home against the Clippers, and after fading the Wolves for an ATS win a few nights ago against the Blazers, I am taking advantage of a Minnesota opponent being undervalued heading into Target Center once again. Lay the one point with LA, and add it to your NBA picks for Monday night.
