New York Knicks at Orlando Magic
Line: Knicks -6 ½, Over/Under 194 ½
Tip off: 7:05 PM EST
The New York Knicks (22-10 SU, 7-9 ATS away) will look to take advantage of the struggling Orlando Magic (12-20 SU, 7-11 ATS home) tonight, on the road, in a matchup between two teams clearly heading into opposite directions.
New York has been a pleasant surprise all season, and after 32 games played, they are showing no signs of slowing down. As a result, they appear to be a perennial team in the Eastern Conference.
The Knicks have really shined on offense, scoring an average of 102 points per game, which is sixth best in the association. Defensively, they are decent as well, holding opponents to fewer than 97 points a night, which ranks 12th best in the NBA.
That said, New York is only 1-5-1 against the spread in their last seven games overall and 0-4-1 ATS in their last five games played on the road. But, they have covered the point spread in four of their last five matchups versus the Magic.
Meanwhile, Orlando has been on the wrong side of their last seven matchups and will attempt to snap their skid at home tonight when they face the Knicks.
However, they have had a tough time all season scoring points, as they are only good for about 93 per game, which ranks way down the bottom of the chart at 25th in the league.
Orlando is just 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games played at home, but they are a stellar 8-3 against the spread in their last 11 contests played on a Saturday.
I expect Orlando to drop their 8th game in a row tonight, while the Knicks handle them with ease en route to a straight up win and point spread cover.

Houston Rockets at Cleveland Cavaliers
Line: Rockets -6, Over/Under 209 ½
Tip off: 7:35 PM EST
The Houston Rockets (19-14 SU, 7-6-1 ATS away) will attempt to stretch their winning streak to four games tonight when the face the lowly Cleveland Cavaliers (8-26 SU, 3-11 ATS home) at the Quicken Loans Arena in a contest that features one of the worst teams in Eastern Conference and the NBA, and another that is trying to compete with the powerhouses in the Western Conference.
Houston has proven to be the top offense in the NBA so far this season, as they are scoring an average of 106 points per contest. However, while the offense performs at the highest level, the defense is next to last in the NBA, as they are allowing opponents to drop more than 103 points per game.
The Rockets hot play has also translated well for the bettors. Houston is a sterling 9-1 ATS in their last ten games overall and a perfect 5-0 in their last five games played on the road.
Meanwhile, the Cavaliers are just as bad on offense as they are on defense. They are scoring just 94 points per game, while surrendering 99, both categories rank near the bottom of the last at 24th best.
They have been equally as bad, if not worse against the spread. They have covered just six of their last 20 games played at home and one of their last five against Western Conference opponents.
However, they have covered the point spread in their last four matchups against the Rockets when the game is being played in Cleveland.
Obviously the Cavaliers have struggled all season, but not being able to produce at home makes it even worse. For my NBA Sports Picks, the Rockets should run up and down the court all night against Cleveland for a blowout victory and point spread cover.
