Will the hot streak keep going? Let's break down Wednesday's big slate and search for our favorite NBA picks of the day.

Having swept the board three days in a row, we're eager to try to keep it going tonight. There are a bunch of games on the board, and we're hoping we've found a couple angles to attack in terms of the NBA odds.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Golden State Warriors
It's been a truly disappointing start for the Grizzlies, and now they have to contend with the still undefeated Warriors, albeit on their home floor. When we check out the betting lines, we see Golden State is comfortably favored by eight points across a lot of the top online sportsbooks, with a total trading at right around 199.

You can see why the odds are so steeply in the Warriors' favor. After all, they haven't lost a game this season, and they've mostly dominated each time they've taken the court, save for a close game or two mixed in. They're averaging a league-best 114.9 points per game and have been excellent defensively too, holding opponents to 97.1 points (seventh in the NBA) on average.

Tonight's unlikely to be a walk in the park for the undefeated Warriors though. The Grizzlies have been struggling early on, yes, but they did show signs of life and fight in a close two-point road loss to the Clippers the other night, and we believe they're going to show up with one of their most competitive efforts of the young season this evening. They may be shorthanded with Brandan Wright injured and Mario Chalmers not ready to make his Grizzlies debut just yet, but this is an experienced group that's proven it can hang with the big boys.

It's not hard to find motivation when you play an unbeaten team, especially when it's a conference rival like Golden State, and we also can't lose sight of the fact Memphis has been out on the road for six of its first eight contests. The Grizzlies have notoriously been much stronger at home, and we look for them to rise up and give the Warriors a great fight, with the duo of Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol likely to lead the way. We're taking the points and backing the hosts.

NBA Pick: Grizzlies +8 at Pinnacle

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2882579, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,19,93,92,238,349], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Portland Trail Blazers vs. San Antonio Spurs
This should be one of the more interesting games of the night. The Spurs, as expected, have been great to start the season, winning five of their first seven games.

LaMarcus Aldridge makes his return to Portland tonight, after leaving the team for San Antonio over the offseason. He and his Spurs teammates are solid seven-point favorites on the NBA odds board for the game, while the total is at 199 points. San Antonio last took the court in an easy 18-point road win over Sacramento, and they currently hold a one-game edge on Houston for the top spot in the Southwest division.

As for Portland? The Trail Blazers have gone 4-4 through eight games, with Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum taking turns doing their thing offensively. Al-Farouq Aminu has been a solid third option, but overall it's hard to picture this team competing for a playoff spot when you consider how loaded the Western conference is. Losing four starters from last year's team will do that to you.

In sum, we just don't see Portland being able to hold on for the ride for the entire 48 minutes despite being the home team. Lillard is surely going to have another big game, especially against the aging legs of Parker, who's been terrible defensively, but we don't believe he'll get enough support. Meanwhile, San Antonio has so many different weapons and aren't overly reliant on one guy to shoulder the offensive load. Aldridge and Tim Duncan figure to have productive outings against a pretty weak Portland interior, and that's one of the main reasons we like the road team here.

With that said, we're going to lay the relatively big number and back San Antonio as our NBA pick to come away with the win and ATS cover.

NBA Pick: Spurs -7 at 5Dimes

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2882583, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,19,93,92,238,349], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
