It’s a nice NBA schedule here on Saturday night, and after yet another perfect day of NBA Picks yesterday, let’s see if we can do it again. I have found two more NBA Odds that look to have some value.
Warriors vs. Rockets
The Warriors got another win last night, this time against the Thunder. They fought off a hell of a game from Russell Westbrook, and now they will have to fight off James Harden, who might be the early favorite for the MVP this season. Stopping Harden and the Rockets on the road, and off a back to back is going to be tough, and that’s why for only the 6th time this season, the Warriors are NBA Odds underdogs. The Rockets come in as -2 ½ to -3 favorites against the Dubs tonight, with a total of 213 ½.
However instead of risking money on the spread, I am going with the total in this NBA pick. The Rockets have been very good on defense this season, especially at home. Now that they are playing a team on no rest, it might get even better tonight. Houston has cashed the under in 15 of their 20 home games this season, and they are 15-10 cashing the under against the West. On top of that, the Warriors are 5-0 cashing the under this season when playing as a road underdog. Look for a playoff style game, and I expect a lot less points for the Warriors tonight compared to their home game last night. The Rockets have a lot more defense than the Thunder.
Free NBA Pick: UNDER 213 ½
Wolves vs. Nuggets
The Nuggets are struggling to try and stay in the playing hunt in the West, and it looks like they may be realizing their chances are slim this season. They just traded Nate Robinson to the Celtics, and they are 4 ½ games out of the playoffs right now with two teams ahead of them. However tonight should be an easy win for them, against the worst team in the Western Conference. The NBA odds have the Nuggets as -11 ½ favorites in this game, but instead of trying to decide whether the Nuggets will show up tonight, I am going with a play on the total of 210.
While the over hasn’t been crazy for these two teams this season, it’s stll been trending recently. Denver has cashed the over in five of their last nine games, while the Wolves have cashed it in five of their last eight. On top of that, the Wolves have cashed the over at 19-13-1 as an underdog this season, and while most of their games have come as an underdog, being on the road makes this one even better.
Denver should have no issues scoring the ball tonight, and even though some of the Wolves regulars are close to returning, none of them look ready to go tonight. That may hurt the Wolves’ offense some, but the Nuggets’ defense hasn’t been that great either. Currently Denver ranks 25th in the NBA in points allowed at nearly 104 per game, and while the Wolves may not get that, they’ll surely be close tonight.
