After hitting on two of our three NBA Picks yesterday, and barely missing a perfect night after one of our totals fell just a few points short, let’s jump into tonight’s big slate of NBA Odds.

Rockets vs. Sixers
One of the lines that came out a little later this morning was the Rockets heading into Philadelphia for their final matchup against the Sixers. The NBA Odds have the Rockets as big -9 ½ favorites, but some sportsbooks even have them as high as -11 tonight. The total however is where I am focused for this game, and it is sitting between 217 and 219 depending on which sportsbook you look at.

The Sixers have been without their two young big men in Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor for the last few games, and while it appears as if Okafor will be out again tonight, Noel looks like he will be ready to make his return for the Sixers. This should help them on the defensive end, but with the fast-paced Rockets coming into town, the over might still be a pretty good play here on Wednesday night.

The Rockets have cashed the over at 21-11 on the road this season, which is the second highest mark in the league, while the Sixers have cashed the over at 19-11 when playing at home this season, which is a success rate of 63.3 percent. The Sixers’ might struggle some offensively without Okafor, but Houston is still giving up close to 110 points per game in their last seven overall games, and in their last eight road games they have given up an average of 113 points per game.

With the Sixers coming into this game cashing the over in eight of their last 11 games, I am banking on the over tonight as well.

Heat vs. Bucks
The Bucks have pretty much played themselves out of a playoff spot over the last few months, as they are seven games out of the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference with 18 games left to play. While that’s not an impossible margin to overcome, it is going to be pretty hard with three teams sitting ahead of them in the NBA standings. Tonight the Bucks have another tough matchup, welcoming in the Heat to Milwaukee. The NBA Odds have the Bucks as +3 home dogs in this one, with a total of 200 ½.

While Milwaukee could easily win this game, the Heat come into this one winners of five straight games SU, and they have won eight of their last ten games ATS. Now tonight against Milwaukee, a team the Heat has split their season series with so far, it appears as if we’ll have a close matchup. However, both teams have won on the others floor in their two games so far this season, and I see that trend continuing with the Heat playing as well as they have.

Milwaukee has simply given up on defense now that they are getting close to being too far behind mathematically in the standings. In their last nine games, the Bucks have given up 106 points per game in their last nine games, and without Michael Carter-Williams for the rest of the season, it’s going to be hard for the Bucks to stop anyone. Without Carter-Williams this season, the Bucks’ opponent’s Defensive Rating goes up a full point. Against Goran Dragic and how well he has been playing, that may spell the end for the Bucks, who are also playing their third game in four nights. Miami is also 10-3 ATS this season when playing as a road favorite. Add Miami to your NBA picks tonight.
