We nailed two of my three NBA Best bets last night, and now that I’ve hit eight of my last 12 NBA Picks, it’s time once again to release two more for this short slate on Tuesday evening.

Celtics vs. Bucks
While the Bucks have been playing a little better since Jason Kidd made his return to the bench, the Celtics have been hotter than almost any team as of late, and now they head into Milwaukee to try and dispatch the Bucks. The NBA Odds have the Celtics as -4 road favorites in this one, with a total of 208 points.

Boston is only 7-7 ATS this season when playing as a road favorite, but they are still 15-11-1 ATS when playing on the road this year, and Boston has already won and covered against this team once this season back in November. With Boston victorious in nine of their last ten games SU, and even though the NBA Odds opened a little long and have been shortening some in favor of the Bucks, the Celtics’ offense should be no match for the fledgling Bucks defense tonight.

In their last eight games, the Bucks are giving up nearly 104 points per game, and with the Celtics playing so fast and efficient recently, there seems like nothing the Bucks can do to slow them down. While the Bucks might do well against the Boston frontcourt, the Celtics’ perimeter defense will be too much for the Bucks. Boston should put up well over 100 points in this one, and considering they are scoring over 110 points per game in their last ten, all while holding their Eastern Conference opponents to less than 100 points per game this season, look for the Celtics to win and cover this one tonight as our NBA pick. Boston is also 9-1 ATS in their last ten games.

Jazz vs. Mavericks
I’m not sure what the sportsbooks see in the Mavericks tonight as -2 favorites in the NBA Odds, but I am not waiting around for the sharps to close this line down to a pick em. Taking points with the Jazz tonight might be one of the best plays on the slate. Both teams got the night off last night, and with the Jazz pace and extremely good defense that is finally back in tact, the Mavs stand zero chance tonight, even at home.

Utah’s defense is allowing fewer than 96 points per game this season, and in their last three games, no team has reached the 90 point mark against them, and they are giving up an average of only 84 points per game in their last three. That could be one of the reasons why the total has plummeted since it opened at 190½, now all the way down to 185½.

With their entire team back and healthy outside of the guys who are out for the season, the Jazz present any team with extreme matchup issues. The combination of Rudy Gobert and Derrick Favors in the middle is tough for any team, let alone the undersized Mavs, and on top of that, Gordon Hayward has been very good on defense this season, but of course no one notices, and the Jazz keep getting undervalued in the NBA Odds.

While Dallas did win their first matchup against the Jazz this season in Dallas, I doubt the result is the same this time around. With the Jazz locked in on defense, it’s going to be hard for the shallow Mavs to score the ball tonight. Utah is coming into this one on a five game winning streak SU, and they have now covered their last six games in a row ATS. Utah has not allowed a team more than 96 points in their last eight games as well, so take the two points and the moneyline tonight with confidence.
