We split a pair of NBA Picks on Saturday thanks to the Heat not showing up in Portland, and now on Sunday there are a wealth of NBA Odds to choose from before the league takes the night off for the National Championship game and Opening Day. Who can we trust with our NBA Picks tonight?

Wizards vs. Clippers
For the first time in several months, Blake Griffin will be making his return to the Clippers lineup. However, with the Wizards coming into town, it appears as if the sportsbooks have not recognized this just yet, as the NBA Odds have LA as only a -6 favorite in this one with a total of 208 points.

While Griffin has been out for a while, he has been cleared for action for more than a week, but he has been serving his suspension for being an utter idiot and punching the team’s equipment manager repeatedly in the face. However, what would be the best ay to make that up to your teammates? Winning a championship.

While the Clippers are easily not one of the top three teams in the West, it’s hard to figure out what they’ll be in the playoffs with a healthy Griffin. If they utilize him correctly, this team is dangerous, and they are the biggest wildcard in the West, and probably the entire playoffs.

Now that brings me to this afternoon. The Clippers might limit Griffin’s minutes just a little bit, but they are undervalued even without Griffin in the lineup, so with him returning to the starting lineup today, I am laying the points.

LA has been one of the best home defensive teams this season, and lately they are making it very tough for opposing teams to score when they come into the Staples Center. In their last nine home games the Clippers have given up only 96 points per game. If you take away losses to the Cavs and Hawks, that number drops to 92.5 points per game in six of their last eight home games. Considering the Wizards have lost seven of their last 10 road games ATS heading into this one, I am laying the points as my NBA Pick.

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2883605, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,93,92,238,169,19], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Free NBA Pick: Clippers -6 -105
Best Line Offered: at 5Dimes

Pacers vs. Knicks
Indiana got a big win against the Sixers after looking like they were going to lose last night, and now they head into New York to play the Knicks on no rest. The Pacers also got a big gift from the horrendous Bulls after they lost to the Pistons, giving them a two-game cushion for the eighth seed in the East.

Now the Pacers have another task of a seemingly winnable game in New York tonight, and the NBA Odds makers have the Pacers as -4 favorites, with a total of 196½. While Indiana is only 7-9 ATS this season when coming off the back to back, they have been much more consistent cashing the under, as they are 11-5 this season cashing below the total when playing on a back to back. With the total dropping in some instances to 195½, I am following the trends and going with the under.

The Knicks have long been out of the playoff race, and now they are starting to play their starters less, and their young guys more. While this might lead to a little faster pace, the Knicks play at one of the slowest paces of any team, and young players likely won’t do much for their Offensive Efficiency. However, the under has been a stellar play with the Knicks for some time now, and I doubt that changes much.

Carmelo Anthony only saw 25 minutes in their most recent game, and the Knicks come into tonight’s game after cashing the under in five straight games, as well as in 16 of their last 18 overall games. The Pacers have also been cashing the under with great regularity, but they have been because their defense is pretty good. Indiana has cashed the under in three of their last four games, and in five of their last eight road games. With Kristaps Porzingis likely out for this game, look for the Knicks to play a slow and probably sloppy game on offense, and look for the tired Pacers to follow suit.

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2883611, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,93,92,238,169,19], "LineTypeId":3, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
Free NBA Pick: Knicks Under 196½
Best Line Offered: at Bookmaker
