We got snubbed last night by one points in each of our spread plays, but tonight there are still some valuable NBA Odds to make up for it. I am adding two more NBA Picks to my plays tonight.

Sixers vs. Pacers
Don’t look now, but the Pacers might be that last team in the Eastern Conference to make it in the playoffs, and if that’s the case, and they can get Paul George back sometime soon, the Hawks better watch out. However tonight the Pacers face a much less difficult challenge, the Philadelphia 76ers. Because of their recent hot streak, the Pacers are big -11 ½ favorites in the NBA odds however I am a bit more focus on the total, which sits at 189 ½. While both teams have shown improved defense as the season goes along, the over might actually be a sneaky and valuable play on this one.

The over has still cashed in four of the last five games for the Sixers, and against a team like the Pacers, it will be hard for them to hold the Pacers to less than 100 points. The over is also 4-0 in the Sixers last four games on the road. For the Pacers, the over is 7-3 in their last ten games against teams with a losing SU record, and even though the Sixers beat up on the Wizards on Friday night, they also gave up an average of 108 points per game in their four games prior to that win. Look for the over to cash with a final score of about 102-90.

My Free NBA Pick: OVER 189 ½

Pelicans vs. Nuggets
Two of the more disappointing teams in the Western Conference face off in the nightcap of tonight’s NBA Odds schedule, as the Nuggets play host to the Pelicans. Anthony Davis will likely once again miss tonight’s game, and the NBA Odds have accounted for that. However the Pelicans are still -5 ½ favorites tonight against Denver, with a total of 198 points. While I am tempted to take points with the Nuggets at home in this one, I think the safer play may be on the over. Even without Davis and Ryan Anderson, the Pelicans will be able to score on the soft Nuggets defense. Tyreke Evans is going to have a big game in this up-tempo battle, and on the other side, Ty Lawson will get as many points as he wants tonight. Even though that hasn’t been many with how badly the Nuggets have been playing, the Pelicans still have enough firepower to score well into the 100s tonight.

The over has cashed in the last four in a row for the Pelicans, and in 10 of their last 12 overall. Not only has this team been scoring in bunches, even without Davis, they are now giving up a lot more points without their young big man as well. New Orleans opponents’ offensive rating goes from 105 with Davis on the court, to over 111 when he is out. I could easily see both of these teams going for over 100 points tonight, so once again take the over as your NBA pick.
