We nailed both of our NBA Picks of the day yesterday, and if we could have gotten a few more points out of the Lakers, it would have been a 3-0 day in the NBA Odds. I’m back once again here on Monday to release to more valuable NBA Picks!

Celtics vs. Nets
The Celtics are still fighting for playoff positioning in the East, and if they make the playoffs without Jared Sullinger, and after trading away every recognizable player on their roster from the last five years, it would be an incredible achievement for a team pretty much everyone was picking to be a lottery team. Right now the Celtics are only a half game back of the Hornets for the 8th seed out East, and tonight the NBA Odds have them as +4 underdogs against the Nets, with a total of 202 ½.

While I am tempted to take the points with Boston here, I am more focused on the total, which could be a very good over value tonight. The Brooklyn Nets’ defense has been non-existent this season, and Boston’s hasn’t been much better. Both of these teams rank in the bottom third of the league in average points allowed per game, and while the Celtics are still playing hard, the Nets are not, even though they are right behind the Celtics for that last Eastern playoff spot.

The over has cashed in four in a row for the Nets, and following a SU win the over is 6-0 for the Nets as well. On top of that, the over is 5-0 in the Celtics last five road games against losing home teams, and the over is 5-1 for Boston in their last six games on the road versus a losing team. Place your NBA picks over the total in this one.

Grizzlies vs. Knicks
While the Grizzlies haven’t announced anything, they could very well rest some of their players in this game, which makes it very hard to handicap. Memphis plays an important game against the Cavs on Wednesday at home, and this is the prototypical trap game for them here tonight. As of this morning, the NBA odds favor the Grizzlies at -13, however with the potential that Memphis rests some of their players for this one, I am more focused on the total for this one, which sits at 186 ½.

I am really tempted to take the points here and hope for a bunch of guys for the Grizzlies sitting out, but instead the total looks like the safer play. Even though it’s low enough to consider taking the over, the Knicks scoring recently has burned me every time I’ve bet the over in one of their games. In their 12 games so far this March, the Knicks are only averaging 88 points per game. Take away a few of their overtime games this month, and it becomes even worse. Even if they rest players tonight, the Grizzlies’ defense is going to bring it regardless, and that’s why I have my sights set on the under.

The under is 22-7-1 in the Grizzlies last 30 games overall, and the under is 7-3 for Memphis in their last ten games against losing teams.

NBA Pick: UNDER 186 ½
