Tonight with a huge slate of games on tap, can we finally get back to winning all of our picks in one night? Here is my best shot, as I release my two NBA picks for Wednesday's slate.

Sixers vs. Pistons
Happy tanking season, everyone! The Philadelphia Sixers are back into tanking mode after another disappointing season, and with that they head into Detroit tonight to play the Pistons, who after beating the Cavaliers a few nights ago look like a nice new threat in the bottom of the Eastern Conference playoffs. The NBA Odds have the Pistons as -11 favorites tonight against Philly, with a total of 210½. While Detroit is only 1-2 SU since returning from the break, if they can quickly learn how to play with Tobias Harris running the four, this team just became very dangerous.

The Pistons have already won and covered twice against the Sixers this season, and now with Harris it makes them that much tougher to guard. Literally everyone in their starting unit outside of maybe Andre Drummond can get their own shot, so depending on who the Sixers focus in on tonight, the Pistons have many creative ways to beat them.

I think we see some of those ways tonight, as the Pistons will counter the Sixers size well, and as long as they contain the likes of Ish Smith and Jahlil Okafor, I see Detroit running away with this one at home. The Pistons are already 16-10-1 ATS this season when playing at home, and they are 10-6 ATS this season when playing a conference game at home. Philadelphia on the other hand is 6-12 ATS in their last 18 road games, and in their last 10 games they have given up more than 113 points per game, and in their last three games Philly has given up 121 points or more. Detroit should grab and take hold of this one early and not look back. Lay the points tonight.

Wizards vs. Bulls
The Wizards are coming off a game last night that they ended up winning easily against the Pelicans, and now they head into Chicago to play the Bulls. The NBA Odds makers have the Bulls as slight -2 favorites, but I am much more excited about the total of 211, which is seemingly way too low for these two teams tonight.

Washington and Chicago have only played once this season, but the final score ended at 114-100, easily cashing the over. This has a lot to do with the new styles both of these teams are playing this season. After years of playing big and slow, these two teams are pushing the pace and playing a lot less defense than years past, and with the Wizards coming off the back to back, look for the over to be a great play tonight.

Washington is 9-4 this season cashing the over on the second night of a back to back, and with both teams playing faster this season, I expect another game like their first meeting this season back in mid-January. The Bulls have now cashed the over in 14 of their last 21 games overall, and in their last ten games they have given up an average of more than 110 points per game. The Wizards aren’t much better, as they are giving up 104 points per game over their last ten games, and over 105 points per game when playing on the road. Washington has also cashed the over at 13-4 in their last 17 road games, so with all the trends pointing over, I can’t help but like this one to end up higher scoring as well as my NBA pick for tonight.
