It’s another big night of NBA action and there are some nice NBA Odds out on the boards right now, and I have found two more plays that look like great adds to my NBA Picks for Wednesday.
Blazers vs. Heat
One of the better inter-conference games this evening is between the Miami Heat and the Portland Blazers. Miami is coming off of an impressive win against the Cavs at home, while the Blazers just snapped a three game wining streak with a loss against the Wizards. Now these two face off against one another for the second time this season, and the NBA Odds have the Blazers as -2 ½ favorites in this one, with a total of 201.
While the under cashed easily in the first meeting between these two, it might be a different story tonight in Miami with a healthy Dwyane Wade. The Heat have won three of their last four home games SU, and while the Blazers are playing well, this game actually has more value in the total.
Miami is going to score more than 83 points, which is all they could garner in the first meeting between these clubs. However what seems like the best play tonight is the over. The over has cashed in four of the last five games in a row for the Blazers, and the over is also 4-1 in the Blazers last five road games. On top of that the over is 5-2 for Portland in their last seven games as favorites, so add the over to your NBA picks tonight, as it’s just a few points too low right now.
My NBA Pick: OVER 201 at Pinnacle Sports
Pacers vs. Bulls
These two teams usually play well against one another, and tonight should be no different as these two divisional rivals meet for the fourth time this season. The NBA odds makers have the Bulls as only slight -1 ½ favorites in this one, but I am once again more focused on the total of this one, which sits at 189 points. While the Bulls have been fat from the defensive powerhouse we have come accustomed to seeing in the United Center, they still have enough firepower on the defense end tonight, even with some of their better defenders out.
While Taj Gibson and Jimmy Butler have starter practicing again, they will likely not yet be ready for tonight’s game. However even with two of the three best Bulls defenders sitting this one out, the under still looks like a nice play.
Two of the three meetings between these two this year have gone under the total, and in all three games one of the teams scored only 90 points or less. Tonight’s total is similar to ones from earlier in the season, but with both teams playing better on defense than they were to start the season, this should be a good cash for us.
The under has cashed in eight of the Pacers’ last 11 games, and in four of the last five games these two have played one another dating back to last season. Even though the over has cashed for the Bulls in their last five games, the under is till 5-1 for the Bulls in their last six as home favorites, and in four of the last five for Indiana against teams with winning records.
