We have cooled off over the last few nights, but we still split a pair of NBA Picks last night to move to 16-8 through the NBA Playoffs. Let’s see if we can take advantage of some nice NBA Odds value tonight in what could be two of the last first round games of 2015.

Bulls vs. Bucks
If anyone out there is still wondering why there is talk about Tom Thibodeau’s eventual firing, just go back and watch how badly he got outcoached in Game 5 of this series. Sure, the Bulls lost Game 4 without much help from Thibs, but his rotations have been so bad in these playoffs, the Bucks bench is giving Chicago issues. If that continued tonight, the Bulls will ruin any advantage they could have potentially had against the Cavs n the second round. However they need to win one more against the Bucks, and they try to avoid losing their third game in a row in this series tonight.

The NBA odds have the Bulls as -3 ½ favorites on the road for this one, with a total of 187 ½. For the Bulls the key to this game other than actually getting baskets on offense will be Derrick Rose. Rose has not looked great over the last two games, however with the extra day of rest, most suspect Rose will come out and have a better showing in this one. He has been great this season and these playoffs when he has multiple days rest, and the Bulls know this, so if they don’t win tonight, things might be tough for this team even if they still win the series. Even though it’s technically not, the Bulls need to look at this as a must win game on the road.

That’s why I’m looking at the under for this one. Even though the total is slightly lower at 187 ½, because it’s an elimination game, the defense might once again rule between these two teams. In their regular and postseason matchups this season, the under is 7-2, and it would have been 8-1 if it wasn’t for overtime during this series. The under is also 4-1 in the Bulls’ last five trips to Milwaukee so take it with your NBA picks.

NBA Pick: UNDER 187 ½

Clippers vs. Spurs
The Spurs had a huge win against the Clippers in Game 5 on the road two nights ago, and now they have chance to once again knock the Clippers out of the playoffs. The NBA odds have the Clippers as +5 ½ underdogs in this game this evening, but once again I am more focused on the total, which is sitting at 2065 ½ points.

We got burned on the under for these two teams two nights ago, but for this one I am going the opposite direction and taking the over. The over is now 10-4 in these two teams last 14 meetings overall, and in their five playoff meetings this season, the over is now 3-2.

In what should be a faster paced game for the Clippers on the road, 205 ½ points might be a bit too low for these two teams in a close out game. While I have normally been taking the under in elimination games, the fact of the matter is that these two teams should be in a fist fight tonight on offense, and I think it leads to the over.

NBA Pick: OVER 205 ½  at The Greek
