We split a pair of NBA Picks last night and even though the slate is small on Sunday, there is still some nice NBA Odds value throughout the day.

Blazers vs. Pacers
The Blazers have been one of the best stories in the NBA this season, but because they play in Portland they get little respect from anyone not living on the West Coast. However, after everyone thought they were going to be a lottery team, the Blazers are well inside the playoff hunt in the Western Conference field, and tonight they head into a tough game in Indiana on the second night of a back to back.

The NBA Odds makers have the Pacers as -4 ½ favorites tonight with a total of 210. Portland won another game last night in Chicago for their 12th SU win in 14 games, but they have struggled this season on the second half of back to backs. Portland is only 4-8 ATS this season on the second half of a back to back, and while they do face a tougb matchup tonight, they could very easily get hot from beyond the arc and win this game.

However, the spread to me seems pretty sharp. However, the total of 210 might also might a great opportunity to bet the over tonight with the Blazers coming off the back to back. Portland is not only bad ATS on no rest, but they are also 7-5 cashing the over on back to backs this season. The Pacers are playing at the 8th fastest pace in the NBA this season, and while Portland sits right around the average when it comes to pace, they have also not had a back to back since early January. That game they gave up 114 points to the Sixers in a loss, and against the Jazz in December they gave up 109 on no rest as well.

Indiana should have no problems scoring the ball tonight with the Blazers coming to town, I’m taking the over tonight in Indianapolis.

Wolves vs. Mavericks
The Wolves are also coming off the back to back last night in a big win against the Pelicans that ruined our second NBA Picks last night. However now Minnesota is heading into Dallas tonight as +7 underdogs with a total of 213. Dallas has won both their meetings this season with Minnesota, but while the total is huge tonight both games for these teams this season have been lower scoring.

However, the total is large tonight due to the Wolves being very productive cashing the over on the second half of a back to back this season, and them starting to play their potent offensive lineup centered around their young stars in the making Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns. Along with Ricky Rubio, Zach LaVine and Gorgui Dieng, the Wolves have scored an average of more than 113 points per game in their last three, and even though the last few meetings between these two teams have been slow and methodical games, with the total going up from 213 ½ to 214 while in the middle of writing this article, it’s clear that the over is the play.

The Wolves are 6-2-2 cashing the over on back to backs this season, and not only have they been playing faster and more efficiently recently, the Mavs have also been scoring and giving up a ton of points lately. Dallas is averaging better than 115 points per game over their last six, and they are giving up nearly 113 points per game in that same stretch.

Dallas has now cashed the over in seven straight games heading into tonight, and the Wolves have been even better recently, cashing in three straight, and cashing the over at 13-2-2 over their last 17 games. Take the over tonight in this game as well and add it to your NBA Picks tonight.
